Much like being a disabled person during COVID-time, because of [3rd party] accessibility issues, I won’t be here much. Replying in a timely manner as I can but not reading everything like I was… take care. Stay safe. Wear a mask.

For the next four weeks, every drop counts. 💧 With the Bearspaw South Feeder Main shut down, there’s no outdoor watering and we need everyone to reduce indoor water use too. Shorten showers 🚿 Flush less 🚽 Run full loads 🍽️ calgary.ca/savewater

The UCP announced an expansion of respiratory virus vaccinations, including COVID-19 vaccines, less than two weeks ago. Yet pharmacists are already reporting missing shipments, supply delays, and confusion around vaccine distribution. When pharmacies have to cancel appointments and close bookings because vaccines aren't arriving, it's clear there is a gap between the government's promises and its actions. Albertans deserve reliable access to vaccines, not mixed messages and broken commitments. CBC.ca

The book I’m reading is very agreeable to my brainmeats… pages are turned quite quickly.

You can't keep dismantling the social safety net and then complain about how many people fall through it.

It’s respiratory virus season and it’s already hitting hard! Getting your seasonal vaccinations is a good way to keep yourself and those around you healthy, and reduce the demand on the health care system. I got mine at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy Killarney in Calgary. Influenza vaccines are free and widely available for everyone at any community pharmacy. Most Albertans are also eligible for a free COVID booster, including everyone over 65 and people with many chronic conditions. Check with your pharmacy if they have stock or book online. Ever take a certain public transit route often enough you could reliably nap for the portion you could ignore and wake up for your stop comfortably? There were a few over the years that I could do that with.

Dealing with the same bullshit in Alberta… and even though it very much affects my daily life, at least I like the dark.

Let's lock the clocks after tomorrow! Keep STANDARD time because it's compatible with better health outcomes. Remember we tried locking the clocks in permanent daylight time in the 1970's and it was a complete disaster. It didn't last long than 18 months. Why can't we learn from our own history?
