200 plus emails, 100 plus community members, and hundreds of jobs postings later, this is becoming Klari Jobs. You can find Nigerian & international tech companies hiring across several roles on the platform check it out now @ useklari.com/jobs
Once upon a time, I found myself desperately needing a new job. Searching and applying for jobs was incredibly challenging and overwhelming. I don't want anyone to go through the same troubles, so I created a community t.me/+morJTyA5-HNkZDk0 1/3

UPDATE: I DON'T AGREE WITH OMOJUWA. He mis-diagnosed the problem, deliberately or otherwise (we'd never know) Below is my final submission 👇 teapawt.net/nsemboo/status/2117295…
ultimately, you have to agree with Omojuwa (like him or not) on this one. Nigeria's biggest issue is revenue. So, we need to focus our energy on electing leaders that will build systems... ...because systems will create obscene wealth (e.g. US, China) and reduce corruption.

Per your last sentence: So, generate more revenue to make the corruption less significant? A little stealing/corruption here-and-there pales w.r.t current revenue generated, right?

after finding out what Yaya Bello and Gen. Sani Abacha allegedly stole, I have come to the conclusion that Nigeria doesn't have a corruption or revenue problem, rather it has a systems problem because airtight systems will never allow these men to steal such money and will 1/2

The President appointing the INEC Chairman is like Man Utd choosing who referees a match it is playing in. Must never be allowed to happen, starting from 2031.

How can they expect her back on Monday? What sort of company is that?? 🤣🤣
There’s a Gen Z lady at my workplace who applied for 4 days of annual leave. Her leave started on Thursday, and she was expected back on Monday. But she resumed on Wednesday. When HR asked why she added two extra days without approval, she calmly explained: “My leave started on Thursday. Friday was my first leave day, Saturday and Sunday were weekends, and Monday was my second working day. I still had two working days left, so I used Tuesday and Wednesday to complete my four days.”

President Obasanjo did it with GSM. The telecoms industry has created immense wealth for the country and people...and it won't stop because it has been systemised. Corruption happens there but the money lost to it pales in comparison to the wealth generated.

You said President Obasanjo stole $16 billion meant for the power sector and that’s why Nigeria doesn’t have light Same you is saying corruption is not a problem bozo 🤣🤣

You throw these numbers around (to show Nigeria is a poor country) and then what?? Nothing. No demand for better leadership; no demand for systemic accountability. In another 4 years, you’ll remind us again that Nigeria is a poor country 🤣🤣

if Pres. Obasanjo didn't succeed with the reform of the telecoms sector, many people would be blaming him for it (just as he's been blamed for the failures in the power sector -- and rightly so) He succeeded with telecoms and you say its luck. fucking bozo 🤣🤣

some govt projects cost 5 - 10x more in Nigeria than in other places. when you dig deep to find out why, you'd find corruption somewhere in there. that's why i don't take anyone who says corruption is not a problem in Nigeria seriously

I stepped away from the usual business of governance to walk the runway for the incredibly talented Ugo Monye at Lagos Fashion Week. Lagos continues to grow as a home for fashion, creativity and culture and I am always happy to support the people driving this growth.

NELFUND is funded by TETFund and EFCC. As you thank PBAT, don’t forget to thank Pres. Obasanjo & Goodluck Jonathan for laying the foundation. PS: I still think NELFUND solves very little. Access to education wasn’t a big issue; education was already heavily subsidized
