OpenAI claims its AI disproved a 25-year-old assumption that certain computational problems are inherently difficult to solve. The discovery could lead to faster algorithms and overturn hundreds of research findings. Significantly, AI may have independently solved a major mathematical problem that eluded generations of experts. Bitcoin mining involves finding a hash that meets a difficulty target. Finding one is computationally expensive; verifying it is trivial. This breakthrough challenges assumptions about computational difficulty and Bitcoin security. It does not establish that Bitcoin’s SHA-256 hashes can be solved faster or that mining becomes easier (yet). It just means a barrier (specifically, time) presumed to exist does not. Noob translation: it is believed that breaking Bitcoin's security would take billions of years with billions of computers. That belief is now (probably) false.

The sole purpose of Bitcoin is to allow money to transact outside the conventional banking system, neither favoring nor disfavoring any political cause or position, and thereby avoid censorship arising from subjective determination.
Hi all! Today’s Crypto is Macro Now looks at Netanyahu’s public admission of what everyone knows but hesitates to say publicly: crypto/blockchain offers resilience against sanctions. Plus, why is the central bank so upset? And, what’s ahead for this week. (link below 👇)

I spent years developing Metcalfe's Law as a model for Bitcoin's Value; much more work than has been made public. It's not just a theory. Researchers and practitioners called it "influential analysis" that "remains the point of reference" for Bitcoin valuation. Applying Metcalfe's Law to Bitcoin is complicated. I had to devote 3 chapters to it in The Bitcoin Investment Handbook. It's not wrong, and it's not a curve fit. In fact, it has been a reliable leading indicator of price for over a decade. You can track it daily at bluroo.ai You can read about how it works in detail at cane-island.digital/handbook You can download the free paper at papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.…

Boxing Book 4: Moon The Bitcoin Investment Handbook cane-island.digital/handbook This is one of my favorite covers. I spent weeks developing it. It shipped today: Moon on Monday. Did you know that up to 90% of a book's value comes from a well maintained dust jacket? newmexicoliteracyproject.org… "Throw away the jacket and you can throw away most of the value with it." Only one "Moon" dust jacket was sold to the public, signed and numbered edition #4. But there are still a handful of premium-cover books with low series numbers still available. Did you order yours yet? cane-island.digital/handbook

MSCI's removal of $MSTR forces index funds to sell approximately $1.9 billion in shares. Forced selling increases supply, pushing prices lower until buyers absorb it. Estimated impact: -10%. This is mechanical, not sentiment-driven.

It's still likely Bitcoin will hit $90k by the end of the year. But just barely.
Based on two weeks of October price behavior, a new ATH in 90 days may not happen. This was predicated on Bitcoin reaching $88k, or -30% from its ATH. I thought this was reasonably possible in October or at least by November. But looking at historical data, there is a clear channel in the 3rd week of October that delineates Bitcoin's 4Q trajectory-for the entire period. Bitcoin appears easily headed for the bearish track. Maybe this time is different, but it would break 15 years of history.

One of the reasons I built BluRoo.ai is so that I could see what other people miss. Look at the similarities between 2017, 2021 and 2022 for Bitcoin. The timing, direction, magnitude: synchronous within days. This is why I say history repeats.

Every one of these familiar looking dips is a huge buy signal. $25k -> $46k = 84% one year later $33k -> $64k = 94% one year later Stands to reason that $85k -> $153k = 80%+ one year later, October 2027. Bitcoin

This time *is* different. The U.S. Leading Economic Index (LEI) comprises ten indicators including manufacturing hours, unemployment , new orders, consumer goods, building permits, stocks, credit conditions, interest-rate spread, and consumer expectations. The LEI is treading water. For over 50 years, it bounced back from the bottom, signaling a new boom from an old bust. But now it struggles. The Bitcoin Investment Handbook shows how to read this signal (p 649-650).

2026 Bear Market vs. Prior Bear Market Calendar Years. At some point, bears start to think "maybe this bear market is over" and they flip to neutral/bullish. That has to be happening soon if it hasn't already. Bitcoin bluroo ai
