The recent decline in overdose deaths "is the same pattern we saw on the East Coast," said ADAI/@UWPsychiatry's Caleb @BantaGreen. The decline is likely because so many people using fentanyl have already died, as well as because of the "stunning" work of public health teams.
King County is starting to see fewer fatal fentanyl overdoses, after recording staggering death counts in 2023. It's a hopeful sign, public health teams say. st.news/3z1pmrN
Looking forward to this!
