So funny story, the tournament after this one, we played the final against the Milo Champs from Nigeria. In the pregame meeting with refs I said I was the coach and got asked where the real coach was. Looking at this I get it now 😂

Met an old woman at a support group once. Went undiagnosed her whole life. Figured it all out the hard way. The advice she gave me sounded insane. Every single piece of it works. First thing she told me: stop trying to be calm.

Unpopular opinion: A lot of people do not actually want a healthy relationship. They want someone who tolerate their unhealthy habits without holding them accountable..Because a healthy relationship requires communication, emotional regulation, honesty, reassurance, consistency, self awareness , and the ability to apologise without ego. And a lot of people are not ready for that level of emotional responsibility yet.

Men mistakenly think that a woman's greatest fear is loneliness. You're 100% wrong. Her greatest fear is getting married, having children, becoming a domestic servant, living a boring and miserable life with a worthless husband, and realizing she wasted her time with you. She wants a life filled with purpose, growth, and genuine happiness on her own terms. The real fear is losing herself in a life that was never truly hers to begin with.

When a woman exits a long-term relationship, a man's initial thoughts often revolve around assumptions like "She must have found someone else," "How could she do this after all these years together," and "What more could she want?" However, what men fail to acknowledge are the numerous occasions when she went to bed feeling hurt because she caught him engaging with other women. They overlook the times when he disrespected her, called her names, and made unfulfilled promises to change. Men overlook the moments when she stood by him in times of need, prayed for his transformation, and prioritized everyone and everything above herself. They disregard the instances when her loved ones advised her to walk away, but she chose to stay. Their focus remains fixated on the question, "How could she do this?" Women do not abruptly decide to leave a relationship. A man's behaviors, words, and the emotions he evokes accumulate over time. Eventually, his flaws become a burden too heavy for her to bear. When she ceases to express her frustrations, stops criticizing, and refrains from persuading him to see her perspective, it is not a sign of defeat or acceptance; it signifies her preparation to break free from the toxicity. Therefore, she did not depart to seek another partner but to rediscover herself. Men, cherish and value your woman while she is with you. Ladies, recognize and embrace your self-worth, love yourself! ❤️

Y'all will soon realize that someone can say they want you and mean it with their feelings and still fail you with their habits, their behaviors, words and actions. Love without structure is where emotional safety dies.

Before I got pregnant, I had an irrational fear of pregnancy as something that could ruin my life and damage me irreparably. Now that I've gone through pregnancy and childbirth and have thee most adorable baby... I'm even more scared of pregnancy cos WTF WAS THAT?!?!
