Trainers can keep a players busy for an hour without teaching them very much.
Activity isn’t development. Sweat isn’t proof. Difficulty isn’t automatically quality.
The question is simple: What is the player learning, and can they apply it in a game?

Huge game tonight from @duce_paschal. The @CCHoopsPdx Mm did it all - finished around the hoop, grabbed boards, was super active on D, and hit clutch FTs. 22 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals, and a perfect 8-8 from the line, perfect 6-6 in OT.

Relatively quiet offensively most of the night, @BamPaschal came up big when it mattered most. As @southmedfordbbx tried to come back in overtime, the @CCHoopsPdx sophomore continually thwarted the Panthers strategy of fouling him by calmly knocking them down. 4-4 in OT.

It appears the main man in the middle next year for @Maverick_Hoops will be Jaylin Ormond. The rising senior scored through and over guys down low as he helped power the Mavs to their first win at @OregonMBB team camp with 20 points. – at Eugene, OR

One of the more under the radar backcourts on 6A is unquestionably at @SRHS_Basketball. Rising juniors @carterfortun3 (19 points) and @KadenGroenig3 (18 points) lit up the scoreboard at the nightcap of day 1 at @OregonMBB in a win over @SpragueMBB. – at Eugene, OR

Shooter! That’s a chant @blake_thune often hears on the court as he’s sinking threes. He hit four from deep including a key one late for @Maverick_Hoops hung on to win over @summithighhoops. – at Eugene, OR

No surprise Carter is making big time plays! More to come the next season!
Making some huge plays down the stretch for @obc_work in their opening game @HoopSource1 Memorial Day Championships win over @OregonProspect was @carterfortun3. The @SRHS_Basketball rising junior converted an and-one in overtime that was the final difference.

Showing why he led all of 6A in blocked shots this morning at the @HoopSource1 Memorial Day Championships was Chance Winter. The rising junior at Glencoe was defending the rim but also coming out on the perimeter to contest shots. – at Orchards, WA
