Day 24 - Long After The Movie Ends݁ Long After The Movie Ends was the true beginning of mine and Oceans story. From the first moment i heard it i felt completely mesmerised! My favourite memory was when she played it for me for the first time in soundcheck.

Day 23 - Belgrave Square₊ ˚. 🕯️ ⊹₊ ⋆ Belgrave Square was written a month before Ocean performed it at Lafayette supporting CATTY She refuses to reveal its cryptic meaning, éclairs will have investigate when it comes out.

Day 22 - Cult Leader Serenade𓆩⚝𓆪 Cult Leader Serenade was written the same night as Cool Kids in the early morning, Ocean had the whole song written in a few minutes and the guitar part before the bridge was based on a melody she was humming to her producer. ִֶָ࣪☾.

Day 21 - Cherry Stem🍒⋅°✮ Cherry Stem is one of Ocean’s favorite songs. Fun fact: There is currently no recorded version of the song. She does perform it live and says it’s her utmost priority to get it to us as it’s definitely a fan favourite.🜼

Day 20 - The Perfect Place To Hide𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Ocean write The Perfect Place to hide when she was hiding away in Montreal. The song is about a person she met there that felt like a good escape in a time she was running away from her life.

Day 19 - Fairylights and Gowns🧚 Fairy lights and Gowns is about this perfect place full of beautiful people who are all dressed up and making memories but you are watching from the outskirts knowing that yours is a different path

Day 18 - Cool Kids𓆉 ⋆.˚ 𓆝⋆.˚ For Cool Kids Ocean was really inspired by The Beach Boys and the Archie Comic Books. The song is about feeling like an outsider or alien told through the eyes of a teenager in the 60s.

Day 17 - A Singer Must Die ˚˖𓍢ִ✧˚. Fruit on a Grave was dedicated to Leonard Cohen and Ocean knew she wanted a cover on it. He has been one of Ocean’s biggest influences and has referenced him a lot in her music and life philosophies.

Day 16 - Sirens of St. Tropez₊˚.ೃ࿔*:･🧜🏼‍♀️ Sirens of St. Tropez is the first song in Oceans discography she has a production credit on. It was written and produced completely remotely with Elliot Woodbridge & Honey Gentry.

Day 15 - Burgundy Body-‘🍷⁠*⁠.⁠✧ Ocean wrote Burgundy Body about a traumatic event after laying on her floor for two days listening to There’d better be a mirrorball. The song was mixed by the same engineer who mixed The Last Dinner Party.

Day 14 - Verrückt Nach Dir⋆.˚♬⋆.˚ The music video includes lots of Ocean’s friends including Jules who produced the track. It was filmed at iconic soho institition Trisha’s. directed by Findlay & filmed by the same director who did the Wild Horse & ITICS videos.

Fun Fact♪♫ Ocean played the song in Germany when she toured with Suki Waterhouse and released it for 24h on NYE to everyone who bought a journal page from her on tour.

Day 13 - The Last Man I Loved .𖥔 ݁ ˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ Fun Fact✦ ‧₊˚ The second verse in TLMIL was about the same relationship as The Perfect Place to Hide, the third was about the same relationship as ITICS & Wild Horse and yes he actually didn’t know who Nick Cave was.

Day 12 - Candy Shop -ˋˏ🍬 Fun fact 🍭 The voicenote in Candyshop “I’ll just have to control myself around you - jk im not that into you” was an actual voicenote ocean sent to a man.

Day 11 - California⋆˚.༄𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 Ocean produced the original demo of California by herself and has provided us with a snippet from YouTube that is private༝ ˚ ｡⋆ 𓇼 ⋆｡ ˚ ༝

Day 10 - Last Cigaretteᝰ.ᐟ๋࣭⭑🚬 Ocean recorded the music video to Last Cigarrete alone in her room. She says it was super cathartic to make. Ocean is afraid of helicopters so she said the bit on grass where she was filming the helicopter was very scary to film </3

Day 9 - Blue Cotton⋆｡°•☁️ Ocean taught herself animation and animated the video herself with drawings from her journal. The song is one of Oceans most personal and autobiographical songs.𖥔

Day 8 - In Cards We Trust🂱❦࣪ ִֶָ☾. Ocean met Tyler at the restaurant she was working at. He was in town from LA and a year later they made In Cards We Trust at his Dalston apartment.

Day 7 - Summer Rain⋆ ﾟ ☂︎ Backstory Ocean went back to her childhood home in Germany for the music video of Summer Rain. The cover of the EP was shot in her mother’s old dressing room༄˖°
