“Do not force the flower to open; become patient enough to watch it bloom.”

here's my AI cybersecurity apocalypse white pill.
I've been fixing bugs in leftover human code non-stop for over a year now. literally cleaning up years of human slop.
at the same time, i've been building fully AI-written complex software which I regularly review with AI the same way that I'm reviewing the human code.
the difference is like day and night. good models don't just find the bugs, they also produce far fewer bugs.
the difference between a big project written exclusively by modern frontier models and one written by a dozen engineers is just incredible.
all those little obscure mistakes that humans overlook are mostly absent. if you take care of your project, the code quality can be great and there's almost no accumulation of weird edge cases that sneak in inevitably over the course of multiple years of working on a code base with a team of humans.
makes me very optimistic about the future.

I just tried SolidCraft for an hour. I was able to do everything I tried on my first attempt, as was Opus.
It sets an inflection point in CAD history.

Hands-on with our tiny acoustic camera #SoundRay64: watch sound appear on screen — yes, even ultrasound!
I hope not only the size and power consumption to be a fraction of the competitors', but the final price as well 😁

Diversity in self-custody helps Bitcoin thrive. Different niches and needs call for different solutions: commercial HWW, DIY signing devices, computers, phones. Backups on metal, paper or optical discs.
Some solutions will fade, some evolve, while the shared mycelium grows.
One underrated aspect of multi-vendor multisig is that it improves the most important self-custody element: knowledge.
Different UI and interaction methods helps assimilate important concepts.
Comparing solutions yourself instead of being influenced is another factor.

Working on a new tool that automatically reverse-engineers 3D scans into really good CAD geometry. This example took a good hour, but man, does it look good and clean!
Kern is now compatible with ESP32-P4X. The X is for v3+ versions of ESP32-P4 chip, which are faster but require dedicated firmware. Kern webflasher (with daily builds) will detect and act upon the chip version automatically.
