Remember those tech giants that crashed and burned despite killer products? 😩 Let's talk Rumble Video – a platform with huge potential for free speech and creator freedom. But their dev game? Ignoring outsiders, stringing 'em along, or straight-up hostile. History screams: THIS IS A BAD PATH. Here's why, quick hits style: 🚨 Palm's webOS (2009): Revolutionary multitasking on the Pre phone – way ahead of iOS/Android. But no real dev portal? Apps dried up. Sold to HP, then killed. Now? Forgotten in mobile wars. 📱 BlackBerry (2000s): Secure email kings with BBM magic. Slow on dev tools, proprietary mess. App ecosystem? Starved. Exited hardware, now a shadow next to Apple/Samsung. 📞 Nokia's Symbian (2000s): Tough phones, epic batteries, early smarts. Fragmented dev access, no open portal till too late. Market share tanked. Phones sold to Microsoft, now just telecom ghosts. 🌐 MySpace (mid-2000s): Social king with music vibes and custom profiles. Hacked tweaks instead of proper APIs? Spam city, no real dev love. Faded to obscurity as Facebook's app boom took over. Rumble, wake up! Without embracing external devs via portals/SDKs, you're repeating these flops. Platforms thrive on ecosystems – not isolation. Creators & users deserve better. What do you think? Will Rumble pivot or perish? @DanielClancy @TheRealTombi @VapinGamers @StreamBotApp
