evan being the only soloist in the top 10, where the competition is already so tight, is such a huge feat for a fandom that might not be the biggest but has more than enough love to keep pushing for #evan. so thank you, evers, for all the effort you’ve put in! we’re only on day 2, though, and our position is never guaranteed, so let’s keep going! i hope we all remember that the fans’ choice award isn’t simply about which artist has the biggest fanbase, but about which artist has fans who consistently choose them, day after day. please don’t let outside forces discourage you or make you doubt what we’re capable of. remember who we are and what we’ve already accomplished together :) we had enough love for evan to catapult him to no. 1 in the last preliminary voting, and we can absolutely do it again. you just have to believe in the love you have for him, and when you vote, do it for evan, not because of who we’re competing against, but because he’s the one you want to see win and to those who can’t vote, i understand that we all have lives outside the fandom, and nobody should feel obligated to put voting above their personal responsibilities. but there’s a difference between being unable to participate and repeatedly announcing that you won’t vote because you’re only here to support evan as an artist. please don’t turn your personal choice into a reason for others to feel that voting doesn’t matter. supporting evan as an artist doesn’t mean we have to separate our love for his music from our desire to see him recognized for it. we may not be the ones creating the music, but we can still be part of the journey by showing up for him in the ways we can. an award will never be the measure of his talent or the reason his music matters, but it can be a meaningful way to recognize his hard work and show him that the people who believe in him are here, cheering him on. we dream alongside evan, and since he’s an artist who have big dreams and continue to dream even bigger after achieving so much, i hope we can be like that for him. so if we have the chance to help turn even one of those dreams into reality, why would we talk ourselves out of trying? if you can vote, please do. not because you have to prove anything to anyone, but because you believe he deserves to be chosen 🫀
