adhd is honestly so subtle in how it destroys your life. like you’ll be waiting on the right time to do something and you’ll look up and years have passed and you’ve done nothing to achieve anything you’ve been wanting to do forever, and it’s for no reason in particular.
I feel like this is something tim sweeney doesn't really understand about the lack of appeal for the epic launcher is that not only is it a unprofessional vibe coded mess but it's missing so much of the personality steam has had to express for the past 20 years of its existence

Do NOT fall for this shit. If you want to sell your PS5 just sell it on the used market. Do NOT give Sony your RAM. Better yet, they are offering you this to deter you from jailbreaking it. It's specifically targeting inactive users. They are SCARED. Let em squirm

If this were any other company I'd imagine they'd maybe get a 20% discount on their next purchase over 50 dollars or something. Thread in reply.

Ohh I understand these crazy deals for FF7 Remake & Rebirth now
They’re not this price on PlayStation, Xbox or Steam — only the eShop
Square Enix knew a ton of people would be buying a Nintendo Switch 2 for the first time this week for the Ocarina of Time remake and decided to make the remakes of their late 90s masterpiece heavily discounted to get some more nostalgia purchases out of them lmao. Genius

Zelda series Producer Eiji Aonuma says one of the reasons they remade Ocarina of Time is to help new staff understand the significance of the original to help them make new Zelda games in the future!
"This year marks the 40th anniversary of the very first Legend of Zelda game. With that in mind, I was thinking about what I should create as the producer of the series.
Many of the team members who work alongside me on Legend of Zelda games today have only experienced developing the more recent titles. That led me to wonder, “Do they truly understand just how significant The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was to the series as a whole?”
Of course, there are team members who vaguely know the game, and those who played it in their childhood days. But I started to wonder how they'd interpret The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as they go about developing future Legend of Zelda games.
By learning the game structure and development style behind the original The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and by actually rebuilding it as a full remake, it may trigger new insights that they can carry forward into future development. If we could achieve that, I thought it would be incredibly valuable. That’s what led us to the conclusion that now is the right time to revisit The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time once again."

Final Fantasy Resonance Producer Keisuke Nakashima says Square Enix execs initially wanted a cheap and simple port of Brave Exvius but he fought to make a full-blown original console version!
“Initially there was some resistance to the idea from Square Enix executives.”
“I didn’t want to go down that route. I wanted to create an original version for consoles that was a full-blown gameplay experience.”
“It was really disappointing to hear people didn’t want to play it just because of the gacha elements. That was another reason we wanted to make this a console game, to bring it to a wider audience.”
