My wrestling sim, TNM, was released to the world 30 years ago this year. Its match play-by-play has been generated by what we call "AI" today since day one. So I feel qualified to say that this technology has no path to AGI. You can choose in training to overfit your model (1/3)

The Defias Brotherhood has to be the best-written story in WoW history. As a diehard Horde player, I made an Alliance alt just to go through the story once. You can tell they started story dev with humans and then ran out of time when they got to the Horde.

Will Ospreay being blocked by Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis on his way to the ring. Then they part and let him pass. As somebody who has followed United Empire since day one, this was hands-down my favorite moment of the night.

Dunkhouse Buck!

This is the first year in forever that I didn't change anything between flrst picking my HOF candidates and reviewing them for submission. Strong groups.

Disagree with me if you will, but in my opinion Darby Allin is a generational talent. Seven years of putting in work. Making people care. With so much having worked against him, Darby is one-of-a-kind.

Word of advice to anybody considering buying an iPhone Duo: You are buying a first-generation concept. It is the worst version of the iPhone Duo there will likely ever be. Know what you are buying and you'll have a better time. Do your homework.

Please - whatever you do... keep Darby Allin and Ilya Dragunov away from each other. Or bad, bad things will happen.

Never forget. "The mascot", my behind.

Somebody needs to train an LLM on Bobby Heenan and Gorilla commentary and unleash it on modern wrestling.

I've rewatched Mox-Davis twice now since the broadcast ended. I think the reason why I loved it so much is because it was a modern take on the gritty Southern wrestling I grew up with. I need both guys in the C2.

For what I've always looked for in wrestling matches, I doubt anything will come close to Mox-Davis for me for a long while. Perfect opponents.

I really miss games like Monkey Island and crawlers like Might & Magic 3. Could sink countless hours into something along those lines again.

I love that Marina Shafir is just as much a part of the Death Riders as Jon Moxley is. Not a valet, not a manager... but a trusted member. Same with Willow and the Conglomeration. Wouldn't want to be whooped by either :-)

I used to love booking e-feds in the 90s so every time I turn on AEW programming and see the likes of Okada, Darby, The Outrunners, Mistico, Kenny Omega, Hangman, Big Tom, Mox, Christian Cage, Samoa Joe, and Katsuyori Shibata, it warms my heart :-). Variety is the spice of life.

When somebody ends up at the same level in multiple companies with vastly different positioning, it's fair to see that as that person's ceiling IMO.

Awesome :-)

What impressed me most about PAC was how willing he was to give less experienced wrestlers potentially career-changing feedback specific to their style. When most would say "this is how it's done", he'd advise specific tweaks to what they were already doing. One of a kind.
