Delighted to announce a wheelchair accessible roundabout has been installed at Shelbourne Park Playground on my request. Playgrounds should be accessible to ALL children, regardless of ability or disability.

I am delighted to confirm negotiations are progressing well to secure the Parish Field as the location for the new Caherdavin Playground.
It won’t just be a playground, but a neighbourhood park developed for the local community, something that has been lacking here.

The Parish Field is an ideal location, being a lockable amenity in an area that is already a centre of local activity.
The schools and Caherdavin Celtic FC have been consulted to make sure all local organisations are working in tandem with the Council to make this work.

Residents living near Caherdavin Green have been contacting me about the dog park the Council are installing. This is not a locked park but an open residential green area in front of houses so a complex location. I am raising residents questions and sharing Council responses:
