1/ One month. That's all it took for decision models to become a diverse category. We evaluated Jev, five other decision models and two cheap LLMs on intent, sentiment, routing data questions and checking claims against a table. TLDR; trade-offs!!

1/ We tested Haiku 5.5 in @omni against real questions pulled from our internal usage, alongside Sonnet 5.5 and GPT-6 Luna. TLDR; more better, cheaper, faster models; some improvements in confident incorrectness, and when your LLM starts rambling, be careful.

1/ We're getting very close to "free" intelligence for most of our use cases. Last week the whole company ran on Luna as our default, at about 1/20th the price per token of Sol. Daily AI cost was about 60% lower than a normal weekday.

1/ Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Sol and Luna both came out Tuesday morning. That afternoon we tested both LLMs on our 60 hardest analytics questions using Omni’s AI harness.

1/ General intelligence is a hammer. It can do almost anything, but it isn't built for anything in particular.
So we gave Jev a whirl in Omni. Same accuracy as Haiku on 1,000 product classifications, in 0.9 seconds instead of 82.

As more work starts with “open Claude and ask,” agents need clear, structured ways to interact with the applications underneath, and in many cases, that means a CLI.
@omni, already making strides towards the promise of AI-powered analytics for all, just released and open-sourced a CLI that lets agents ask data questions, manage users, update content, and switch environments with the same governance and permissions as every human user.
The result is fewer mistakes, less back-and-forth, and a sharper path for where analytics is headed. Hats off to @drinkzima, @jamiedavidson, Chris Merrick, and the Omni team, we can’t wait to see what’s next.
