Yep, and we based our whole calendar around it.
I’ve asked this before but is there any historical event that is like the Opposite of 9/11. Like something so good that happened that it changed the world forever

Which do you prefer writing, multi-or single POV? Is that different from what you like to read? I don't care either way with books I read as long as each POV is equally interesting! However, book 2 of my dystopian series is going to be dual POV & I am intimidated👀 #writingq

I stumbled across a post by someone who generates their books with AI and they were asking why it's so wrong when they still come up with the ideas and basically still edit and direct the story. And I was going to reply the usual, that AI steals words, sometime verbatim, from books whose authors never consented to their work being scraped. And while that's a really good moral reason to avoid it, I think the better reason is simply that you are cheating yourself. We all started in a place where we have ideas we aren't capable of creating yet. (This goes for artists too). Figuring out how to do those ideas justice is the entire point. Forging a tapestry, word by word. Getting better with every new story. Learning from those who came before us. The act of writing IS the joy. The end result is the icing.

Signs & Symptoms of OCD: Obsessions: Recurrent, persistent, intrusive, and unwanted thoughts, images, or urges that cause marked anxiety or distress. The person tries to ignore, suppress, or neutralize them. Compulsions: Repetitive behaviors or mental acts performed in response to the obsession (or according to rigid rules) to reduce distress or prevent a feared outcome. These are excessive or not realistically connected to the fear. Symptoms are time-consuming (often >1 hour/day) or cause significant distress/impairment. Includes mental acts (e.g., silently praying, counting, or repeating words) as possible compulsions #OCDAwarenessMonth

I'm so excited for book 2 bc we get a MUCH bigger window into the Examiner's plans, and how he hopes to achieve them. Quincy gets a hint in book 1 He's going to have to scramble (I love ruining his day😁) but he'll get something CRUCIAL to what he wants before the story ends👀

For the longest time I was a solitary writer. I had no idea of others reading my work, & I had no friends or community to encourage, motivate, & learn from. Having that now is beyond my wildest dreams & I'm so grateful You write on your own but you're not meant to write *alone*

Writing is hard! You pour your heart and soul into your work. So much time. So much passion. Critique can sting, but learning what is useful for you to take away for improvement, & throwing away the bad, is a skill that'll serve you well! - Admin E ✍️ #OperationOctyper
