Basic rate taxpayer: 24% on savings interest and property income
Higher rate taxpayer: 44%
Top rate taxpayer: 49%
So the fact the cash ISA is staying at £20,000 per year is even more important. #Budget2026

Cash ISA cut SCRAPPED. The limit will stay at £20,000 tax-free for people of all ages. And to make investment more accessible I will work with the sector to form a new "starter ISA" to make investment more accessible.
