The opening statement from our rape gang inquiry’s Sammy Woodhouse, who is a survivor herself. I urge you to listen to her powerful words.

Sadiq Khan says Londoners must be protected from faith-based hate crime. Yet a Community Note highlights a case where men accused of antisemitic threats were arrested, but the CPS later dropped the case.
Zero tolerance sounds great. Accountability matters more than slogans.👇🏼
Replying to @MayorofLondon
Let me be absolutely clear: anyone who targets Londoners because of their faith will be held to account.
I'll continue working with the Met Police and partners to tackle faith-based hate crime, such as Islamophobia, protect our communities and ensure there is zero tolerance for this kind of prejudice in our city.

4 men were recorded chanting antisemitic slurs threatening murder and rape.
The vehicle was tracked and the occupants arrested.
Despite all of the evidence, the case was dropped by the CPS.
They targeted Londoners based on their faith. They were not held to account.

Show this to every woman who thinks the hijab is “empowering.”
Quran 33:59 links veiling to women being recognised and not harassed.
Sahih al-Bukhari 146 and 6240 recount how Muhammad’s wives went to Al-Manasi to relieve themselves, and Umar urged that they be veiled.
Why should women’s freedom and dignity depend on a system of religious rules rooted in the actions and attitudes of 7th-century men?

Sharia law raises serious questions about justice for rape victims, particularly where strict evidentiary rules can make proving sexual violence difficult.
The UK grooming gang scandals exposed the devastating consequences of institutions failing vulnerable girls.
When victims are ignored and perpetrators escape accountability, justice has failed. No religious or cultural excuse should ever stand in the way of protecting children.

Abdul El-Sayed and Zohran Mamdani are being compared to Ayatollah Khomeini. Critics fear their politics could take America in a dangerous direction.
Look at Iran. In 1979, an Islamic Revolution brought Khomeini to power. Religious rule followed, dissent was crushed, and freedoms were restricted.
Iran shows what happens when an ideological revolution destroys freedom. America must not make the same mistake.

Open borders without proper controls can have devastating consequences. The public deserves secure borders, proper vetting and the removal of dangerous offenders.

A former east London imam who used his religious authority to rape and sexually abuse women and girls as young as 12 has been handed a life sentence, with a minimum term of 20 years.
Abdul Halim Khan, 54, targeted seven victims from the local Muslim community between 2005 and 2014, exploiting their trust in him as a religious leader to carry out his crimes.
Khan claimed his victims needed cleansing of evil spirits and threatened that “black magic” would bring death or harm to them or their families if they spoke out.
He told one young victim she had ovarian cancer that only he could cure, before driving her to a secluded location and raping her.
He was convicted of nine counts of rape, five counts of rape of a child under 13, four sexual assaults, two sexual assaults of a child under 13 and one assault by penetration — 21 offences in total.
Sentencing Khan at Snaresbrook Crown Court, Judge Leslie Cuthbert said he had systematically abused his power and authority for sexual gratification and behaved as though he was untouchable.
Prosecutors said he had weaponised his victims’ faith, while survivors described lasting psychological harm.
One woman, who was a child when Khan abused her, told the court he had hidden behind the guise of a religious man.
Why are some commentators so quick to downplay concerns about migrant sex crime?
If the reported statistic that Afghan men are 7 times more likely than British men to commit sex crimes is accurate, it deserves serious scrutiny. Sahih al-Bukhari 6820 and Sahih Muslim 1695a also document stoning as a punishment for adultery in early Islamic tradition.
Discuss the evidence honestly. Protect victims. No political or religious ideology should be beyond scrutiny.
Muhammad approved stoning people to death for adultery, including women, according to Sahih al-Bukhari 6820 and Sahih Muslim 1695a.
A brutal punishment carried out in the name of religious law.
Indeed, Allah is merciful.

When even “context” exposes Muslims and their fake narrative.
Happy IslamoREALISM month.
This Islamophobia Awareness Month, we must shine a light on the abhorrent hatred and discrimination Muslims continue to face.
In the last year alone, religious hate crimes targeting Muslims rose by 15% in England and Wales.
This is utterly unacceptable. London will always stand against hatred, prejudice and discrimination.

A debate about whether Islam is compatible with the West turns physical when a woman allegedly slaps a man at a campus event.
You can challenge someone’s views, but violence is not an argument.
If your beliefs cannot withstand criticism, you have a problem.
Italy deported Pakistani imam Ali Kashif after undercover footage allegedly showed him defending child marriage, including girls as young as 9 marrying adult men under Islamic law.
After 6 years in Italy, he was escorted to Milan Malpensa Airport and flown to Islamabad.
Defending child marriage should never be beyond public scrutiny.
Italian authorities deported 25-year-old Pakistani imam Ali Kashif after he was secretly filmed defending child marriage, saying that girls as young as nine could marry adult men under Islamic law.
Kashif, who had lived in Italy for approximately six years and occasionally served as an imam at two Islamic centers in Brescia, was exposed during an undercover investigation by the Italian television program Fuori dal Coro, broadcast on January 25, 2026.
Kashif was escorted by immigration officers to Milan Malpensa Airport and placed on a flight to Islamabad, Pakistan, via Bangkok.
