We got your back, New York!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

Like and retweet this post by the end of October 25th to be entered to win this free Necro Gaming Keypad!
This keypad is a fully serviceable design based on the old Orbweavers. This is the last giveaway for a bit as I’m putting time into building a website over the holidays.

Like and retweet today (10/16) to be entered to win this gamepad. This is the first fully home-serviceable / home buildable version of the design. A proof of concept for an eventual “print your own” kit. This is fully built by yours truely and ready to go!

I don’t think you have a dog in this fight but if you did you would have shot it.
I’ll take @ellalangleymsic over Kacey Musgraves any day.
And if I’m choosin’ Texas, I’ll take Ken Paxton over James Talarico.

Macklemore is the first example of separate the art from the artist where the artist is a good person
Macklemore says Ed Sheeran and his team decided to remove him from tour due to his comments in support of Palestine, after Kraft Group rallied stadium owners and gave Ed an ultimatum:
“[Ed] told me that the words ‘Free Palestine’ and the image of the Palestinian flag were hurtful to a lot of people he spoke with. I told him that if those words were more offensive than tens of thousands of Palestinian children being killed by Israel, then there was a fundamental disconnect between where those people stood and where I stood. But he couldn't get past his public facing, ‘I don't take sides.’”
