SEN winning Masters Madrid is such a beautiful story, and here's why: TenZ: Joined Sentinels in 2021 as an emergency sub and flawlessly won Masters Reykjavik, the first international VCT event. Since winning the very first Masters, TenZ hasn't been able to find success and went through multiple iterations of Sentinels rosters, being the last one remaining. zekken: Literally just turned 19 a couple of days ago and won his very first international event, even tying the kill record of 101. Coming from Minecraft, he placed Silver and grinded his way to Radiant and eventually joined a tier-3 team (Phoenix 1). He joined XSET and came close to success but always fell short. JohnQT: His very first time on a tier-1 global stage, he won it all. After M80 lost to G2 in the Ascension grand finals, he joined Sentinels, who were looking desperate. Reunited with his old coach, Kaplan, he reinforced the roster's protocols and depth (while fragging, I might add). Sacy: A decade of esports and a VCT Champions winner. Left his Brazilian (and one Argentinian) team and joined an entirely new roster in a country he's not familiar with. Bet on himself and grinded through the struggles of 2023 to become a two-time International LAN winner. Zellsis: Vibe merchant, salesperson, best sub ever, whatever you wanna call him. His pro career has always been mid. Was never considered bad, but also wasn't considered very good. Zellsis joined SEN as a 6th man/sub, fully prepared to never play another pro match. He stepped in when the team needed him by playing literally every role and keeping the overall team morale up." Incredible story and I'm so happy as a SEN fan of 3 years!
