Okay, let's look at the data of which tribe is responsible for the repeated deaths due to fake drugs and alcohol in that country. Nigeria has had more than one incidents of deaths due to distribution of fake drugs, drinks and other items, majority of those incidents occurred in Southwest Nigeria, specifically Ogun and Ondo state caused by Yoruba. In 2008–2009, there was the My Pikin Tragedy. My Pikin was a the teething syrup contaminated with diethylene glycol. The Nigerian government reported 84 child deaths. Eighty-four children who were given medicine that was supposed to help them. The owner was Yoruba. In 2015, there was the gin incident in Ondo state. At least 23 people died after consuming locally produced gin contaminated with methanol. A later scientific review reported 27 deaths. The owner was Yoruba. In 2023, in Ogun State: Eight people reportedly died after consuming locally brewed alcoholic drinks, while others were hospitalized. The owner was again Yoruba. In 2026, in Ondo State: NAFDAC reported 48 deaths and 182 cases of illness associated with methanol-contaminated alcoholic and herbal concoctions aka Agbo. The owner was again Yoruba. NOW, LET'S TALK ABOUT AGBO AND KIDNEY DAMAGE. There's been numerous studies and warning by several doctors in regarding Agbo being one of the leading cause of Kidney failures in Nigeria. Infact, if you exclude medical reasons like hypertension, diabetes, and glomerulonephritis etc, Agbo is literally the leading cause. Many researchers have found and reported that those Agbo mixtures contain unknown ingredients, inappropriate concentrations, toxic substances, or contaminants. And unlike properly regulated medicines, many of these preparations have not undergone adequate safety testing. In 1992, researchers in University College Hospital, Ibadan examined 40 patients with acute tubular necrosis, a form of serious kidney injury and found that fifteen cases, representing 37.5%, were attributed to Agbo. In 1999 longitudinal study, the researchers documented 53 cases of acute kidney failure in which traditional herbal preparations (Agbo) were implicated as part of the leading cause. In 2021, due to growing knowledge of many kidney failure patients reports using Agbo on a regular basis, researchers decided to examine Agbo preparations and found that 11% of tested samples contained LEAD above permissible limits, while 60% had microbial contamination. For those that don't know what that means, it meant the Agbo contained lead, which is highly toxic for the human body, in fact it is deadly as well as well high concentration of bacterias. This drink is coming from where this nigga is from. They literally distributing lead all over the country for people to drink while at the same trying to run propaganda that it's Igbo doing it. In 2025, another study found elevated kidney injury markers among people consuming Agbo alongside alcohol and cigarettes. Although the findings could not isolate Agbo as the sole cause, they raised additional concerns about possible kidney damage. And there are several more studies reporting Agbo as one of the leading cause of many kidney failures in Nigeria. And those researchs are not the only warnings. Nigerian nephrologists have repeatedly warned that Agbo can damage the kidneys and liver.
