There's one big problem there lol

I found my ultimate dream house! Apparently it's on an island contained in a land locked lake called Higgins Lake. The color contrasts can leave you without words. In this day in age of endless synthetic internet pictures, I implore you to Google this place to verify the validity, although I might he the first to get pictures in the fall with the drone.

This is one of my favorite photos from this year. Maybe because it was one of the most difficult? Idk To get the motion in the water, I had to fly my drone just above the water at the same pace of the waves, while dragging the shutter.

Sometimes, on rare occasions, everything all lines up.

It can't be all rainbows and sunshine. I like my photography to also remind us that everything is temporary so that we we appreciate it while we have it.

This little lighthouse tucked in the woods on the bay at Pictured Rocks was incredibly picturesque.

I've been attempting to learn deep space astrophotography for the past few months. Would you guys and gals be interested in seeing my progress every now and again? This was the Orian Nebula in the UP of Michigan for 6hrs taken with 20 second sub frames.

It turns out that the Lake Superior side of Michigan still has colorful leaves due to the (relatively) warm waters of the lake keeping the temperature on the coast just a bit higher at night. My eyes have not seen this much color contrasts from the blues of the water to the oranges and reds of the trees.

Usually once the leaves fall off the trees the tourists go home or somewhere where it's still peak season for fall colors. Personally, I like when a lot of the leaves fell off of the trees, the make for the perfect foregrounds.

My God, is northern lake Michigan gorgeous right now! Absolutely breathtaking.

One of my favorite aspects of fall is how the light hitting the leaves reflects rich warm tones onto it's surroundings including the cement similar to a sunset.
