In the face of danger, the brains knows how to trigger feel good hormone like adrenaline. – at Ijoko, Nigeria
The human brain is remarkably adaptable and vulnerable. You can convince a human being to jump off a cliff if the promise of what lies beyond it is compelling enough to outweigh the fear of falling. Sometimes, the incentive is not even happiness, but relief from something they can no longer bear. People will risk their lives for money, endure humiliation for love, embrace danger for acceptance, and surrender their judgment for the promise of a better life. The most unsettling part is that you don’t always have to eliminate someone’s fear to make them take a risk. Sometimes, you only have to give them something they fear living without more than they fear the consequences of pursuing it.

Oh oh! Let me read about this.
Biologically I think it is a thing though. Read somewhere about US veterans for example having more girls than boys.

Never been more responsible and kind like I'm right now. Girl child is God ultimate pick 2 to counter your general market.
The moment God realizes you’re a jagídíjàgan, He’ll send you a girl child first to humble you. Your mind go first dey. #DadandDot spoke to me like mad😂

A potential killer will be arguing with a loudmouth under the cover of darkness, while another potential killer will be dragging him away from the scene. It’s one thing to be trained for violence, and another to know when not to use it. I love soldiers, mehn. 🤣

NIGERIAN ARMY GRADUATES MAIDEN SET OF AIRBORNE TRAINING SCHOOL The Nigerian Army has graduated the maiden set of the Nigerian Army Airborne Training School (NAATS) at Jaji Drop Zone, Kaduna State, marking a major milestone in efforts to strengthen specialised combat capabilities and operational readiness. The graduation ceremony, held on Friday, 23 October 2026, featured the Basic and Advanced Airborne Courses, Basic Rigger Course and Nigerian Navy Basic Airborne Course, alongside refresher jumps for free-fallers and jumpmasters. The Special Guest of Honour, Commander Infantry Corps, Major General Godwin Mutkut, represented by the Commandant Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Major General Muhammad Inuwa, described airborne operations as a force multiplier that enhances rapid troop deployment, manoeuvre and mission effectiveness. He charged the graduates to uphold discipline, safety and professionalism, stressing that airborne operations go beyond parachute jumps to successful mission accomplishment, including deployments behind enemy lines. Earlier, the Commandant NAATS, Brigadier General MS Usman, commended the students for their resilience and dedication, reaffirming the school’s commitment to producing combat-ready airborne personnel for ongoing and future military operations. The graduation featured airborne jumps, refresher free-fall jumps and cargo drops, demonstrating the capability’s potential to support counter-insurgency operations, reinforce ground troops and deliver essential supplies to isolated or inaccessible communities. The development underscores the Nigerian Army’s investment in specialised training to improve operational flexibility and strengthen its response to evolving security challenges.

So I did a 9.46km this morning for #RITNA @yourownkupid as part of celebrations for the Alimosho Community. #3.2forRITNA #RumblesInTheNewAcademy #RITNA
#3.2forRITNA 🏃🏾‍♂️ Hello everyone, and good morning. I trust we’re all doing great. As we continue the roadmap to the launch of Rumbles in the New Academy, my team and I have come up with a challenge we named *#3.2forRITNA*. 3.2 km is probably the most familiar running distance in the Nigerian military. And for many of us, it carries a great number of indelible memories. From the selection board. Crossing junctions. Serving puttee. Exercises. Competitions and so on. So here is the challenge: Run 3.2 km. Record it. Tell us an unforgettable story associated with 3.2 km or your basic military training, and share it with the hashtag #3.2forRITNA. You do not have to record the entire run. 😅 You could also simply share evidence of completing a 3.2 km run with #3.2forRITNA, especially if you would rather spare us the sight of you gasping for breath. And your story does not necessarily have to be about a 3.2 km run. It could be any memorable, funny, embarrassing or unforgettable experience from your basic military training. Not in the military? No problem! Let’s see you do the 3.2km run better. #3.2forRITNA What’s in it for you? The entry with the highest engagement across any social media platform will win a boxed, signed copy of Rumbles in the New Academy by the author. So, Can we start running already? #3.2forRITNA #RumblesInTheNewAcademy #RITNA
