you know what would be cool, if in the middle of a western cartoon, suddenly a character did a magical girl transformation or a bike slide or maybe even became freakin super saiyan! just some subtle little anime references for us real ones iykyk

it could be revealed that spinosaurus sprouted new plant life everywhere it walked like some sort of ancient god and a guy on twitter would still be like erm boring when are you guys gonna figure out if it could eat a mosasaurus or fight a t rex

i think making content to trending "sad" songs about well known fossils that are perceived as tragic or sad is corny and feels so soulless because you're just smashing shit together hoping for the engagement of hundreds of comments telling you that they're crying or whatever

feel this way about almost all Sad Tragic content created about any animal living or dead really. that dying anglerfish was really a crazy time on art social media. don't even start me on laika the dog "fanart" because you won't like me after that conversation

drawing the velociraptor and protoceratops that died fighting each other depicting them as tragic lovers and posting it to TikTok and Instagram as fast as i can set to some Celine Dion shit to rake in the hundreds of social media equivalents of "Take My Upvote!" comments i'll get

if there's anything to know about my paleoart it's that i'm having fun and being silly. if i think it'll be cute i will draw a dilophosaurus hanging out with a carcharodontosaurus and i don't wanna hear about it!!!

getting an ad for some AI slop goon on insta & clicking through to see he's left all his art up from before the AI use and it's just the blandest and ugliest most wannabe cartoonist shit youve ever seen really just shows how pathetic these people are

so desperate to create with no real love of art to inspire them to improve and explore art. driven by contempt and jealousy for real artists. genuinely so sad lol

they can flood threads w justification about how AI is actually hard bc you need to punch in the right prompts or whatever but at the end of the day if you hand them a pencil & paper and tell them to make something, anything, they're utterly helpless and that must really sting
