so for halloween, me and my roommate decided to watch TEKKEN Blood Vengeance and quite frankly, the writing in this movie is scarier than any horror film
TEKKEN being a fighting game means a lot of the dev work isn't gonna be on the story which is a damn shame because there are so many meaningful relationships and stories that fall flat because TEKKEN is a fighting game
actually it makes more sense if it was jin's idea but i don't feel like remaking this so plllbbbttt
???? lee oomfs what is your man doing 😭
VIRTUA FIGHTER CROSSROADS

A highly skilled fighter capable of outclassing Cielo in a street fight, he is a force to be reckoned with. But what is his true reason for coming to this city?

i also headcanon that all of tekken 6 was devil jin's idea because he doesn't understand why that plan would not have worked (and also he probably would have had fun being a war criminal)
that's my attempt to explain the story
i have a headcanon that the devil gene grants mild night vision so now post-T8 Jin keeps walking into rooms without turning the lights on
