Let’s take a look at the NHS.
Around 325,000 staff (roughly 21% of the total NHS workforce) report a non-British nationality.
An estimated 13.1 million people (about 19% of the population) living in the UK were born overseas, according to Office for National Statistics data.
So, correct me if I’m wrong, if the 19% of foreign born immigrants were to return to their home countries, then we wouldn’t need the 21% of foreign born workers in the NHS to look after them. 🤔
