Sure, I’m not arguing it was a good political ad or that Vivek is a good politician. I’m arguing that the ad is being seized upon by rw chuds who want to use it as an example of the cultural incompatibility of Indians or something. The Chuds already decided that Indians make them feel bad about themselves, and then engage in motivated reasoning to rationalize that feeling. I think we should just be honest that the source of anti-Indian hatred is almost entirely based on class resentment from downwardly mobile mediocre white Chuds
