Was great this week to do a podium presentation on the our NHSE data on day case hips at #bhs25.
Key take home messages:
🦺We know from the data that Day Case Hip Replacement surgery is as safe as inpatient surgery in terms of mortality, complications and readmissions
💚 If all 116 trusts doing hip replacements sent home just 2.5% of their patients home the same day we would save enough Carbon to power over 1400 houses a year!
