you can love an athlete and still admit when he is wrong. i love oscar piastri but can acknowledge his flaws (he has none) and can hold him accountable for his wrongs (never done anything wrong in his life) and call him out for his actions (which are always correct)

Also I haven't seen anyone talk about the PR cleanup that was aired on skysports where a 27 year old man made excuses about bullying a reporter in the "heat of the moment" and how he kicked himself later at home. But Silverstone 25 radio is held against oscar to this day.

if him being “whiny” is just frustration during a difficult race (ie qatar, silverstone 2025) or simply just advocating for himself sometimes, then that makes him no different to any other driver. but he’s held to these weird standards so apparently it’s a problem

i really wish oscar had a drivable car. he has shown us so many incredible skills this year like some of the best reaction times, overtaKING (ofc), insane defense against faster cars, going long on tires etc all while driving regs that take away his strengths. I hate the mcl40
