It is incredibly frustrating that people keep assuming that "the ability to create video" is the blocker for more people being creators.
Making videos is much, much easier than coming up with good video ideas. If your idea is good enough, you'll figure out the other part.
AI is going to mint a new class of creators - but will break the oligopoly of existing ones.
Today, making a compelling video requires 1) a great idea, and 2) the ability to create it.
AI massively simplifies #2. You no longer need the resources to produce your own Squid Games IRL - you can just generate it.
Existing creators can't rest on their laurels and ability to create the most expensive productions. Upstarts with great ideas can challenge them.
As a consumer, I can't wait for this!
