Even if you're on paid leave but cant do your job why not volunteer in herts care too!
On unpaid leave? Self-employed with no work on; needing work. This morning, NOW, google Herts at Home, Herts Good Care, or visit Hertfordshire county council website. There’s a job for you. #COVID19 #jobsinherts

We’re creating an exciting new Adult Safeguarding Service in Hertfordshire, and are looking for a social worker to join us. If the values and principles of Making Safeguarding Personal are intrinsic to your practice, this could be you!

We have formed an exciting new Adult Safeguarding Service to operate across Hertfordshire, and are actively recruiting for an experienced and talented social worker to be an Advanced Practitioner.

@ossenfeather & @AmandaChibber run happy teams; 3 SWers recently came as temps & liked it so much they stayed! We're thrilled to have them & soon can offer the new Safeguarding CPD module being designed by @TaviTraining as part of @HertsSWTP to support our fabulous SWers
I spent a week doing safeguarding duty in this team recently and what a great bunch. Busy, tough team to work in but great opportunity to join us in Hertfordshire at the start of this new service.

Next week in ‘Think Safe’ Lewis & I will be doing a talk on the use of social media. We will be talking about privacy settings and keeping safe. An example of this is how pictures on the internet aren’t always private. Let's see how far this photo will travel - please RT! – at Stevenage, East

We find it difficult to talk openly about our mental health issues, because we think we'll be seen as 'loony'. We need to remove the stigma by having the conversation. We need to be able to reach out. #QuantumHug

I’m really pleased and happy I was able to speak at todays @IMAS_sport4all mixed ability award scheme teapawt.net/imas_sport4all/status/… – at Letchworth, England
Fantastic speech by @Letchworthrugby about mixed ability rugby “Life’s quite lonely if you don’t have people around you, rugby has the ability to change that” Sam goes on to say “labels belong on jars, not people.”
