Can someone please help with this? It'd be the world's stupidest reason to cancel a sold out show tonight.
Help!

Some thoughts on streaming vs record sales…
A Spotify stream is worth about 0.003p in revenue.. so if you streamed an album once a day for the next 3 YEARS it would be the same for the artist as buying one album. Mental stat.

So @thecure and @RobertSmith wanted to keep ticket prices at a reasonable level for fans on their upcoming North American tour dates. Of course @Ticketmaster absolutely rinsed them with ridiculous extra charges
wtf even is a service fee or a facility charge or processing fee??

In 2016, Pharrell Williams visited an N.Y.U. music production class to critique student songs.
After he listened to a song called “Alaska” by a student named Maggie Rogers, he explained why “I have zero, zero, zero notes for that:”

I want to send love to all the artist out there because ppl don’t know how tough it is. Although it may seem like they have everything they are human & many go through depression/Anxiety/ Feeling alone but still have to push through so I send hugs to any artist feeling that way🤗

Close minded Chris Moyles saying ‘unsigned bands are crap’…
Stop reinforcing ‘signed/unsigned’ as a metric on whether a band or artist are any good or not. There’s never been so many independent artists out there killing it as there are right now 🔥 Open your ears
