She was trying to figure out the chords to Ed's song by ear, and played the entire song on guitar perfectly a few hours later live completely acoustic
Livies trying to drag taylor failed challenge 😭
Replying to @tayvows
Here’s your fave struggling to play basic chords
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The clip shows Taylor Swift learning an Ed Sheeran song by ear in a casual rehearsal session with him, not an inability to play basic chords. She performed unprepared acoustic guitar live nightly on tour and played this song successfully onstage.

If Salman Rushdie’s fatwa happened today, how many of these signatories would sign a letter supporting him? Most would be too afraid, many would think he deserved it. I doubt Rooney herself would support him.
The comparison is fatuous and disgraceful.
If you ever sought out the novels of Sally Rooney in bookshops – when that was still possible – you’d know they sit in the fiction stacks adjacent to the novels of another SR whose books have been withdrawn in dastardly political circumstances. Until last week, “Rooney” and “Rushdie” had little in common beyond being shelfmates; now they have more than just a physical proximity.

We don’t gaf if they kissed or fucked or were married or cheating on their spouses. Beheading two young people for any of the above is barbaric.
THIS IS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED ABOUT THE EXECUTION IN SAUDI.
False claims are circulating on social media that the two people executed in Mecca were husband and wife, had an eight-year-old daughter, and were Hajj pilgrims. These claims are described as rumours.
So, what is the reported truth?
On October 14, 2026, two Bangladeshi nationals, Nazrul Islam Abdul Basir and Siti Akhtar, were reportedly executed in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. According to the account, they were not married to each other.
Bangladeshi media reports that Nazrul travelled to Saudi Arabia in 2022 to work as a cleaner, while Siti was also working there.
In May 2023, approximately one month before Hajj, the two were allegedly caught by Saudi security forces engaging in immoral acts inside a mosque in Mecca.
They reportedly spent more than three years in detention before being tried in a Jeddah court. After being found guilty, they were executed in Mecca on October 14, 2026, reportedly following a royal order. Their bodies were sent to Bangladesh on October 18.
Why was the punishment so severe?
Mosques hold a special place in Islam, and the sanctity of mosques in Mecca is particularly significant because of their connection to our sacred religious heritage.
Saudi Arabia strictly regulates public conduct, and acts considered serious sexual misconduct inside a mosque may attract severe legal consequences. The account states that the Saudi Ministry of Interior confirmed that the charges against the two individuals involved “fi’al al-fahisha”—a term referring to an obscene or seriously immoral act.
Bangladesh’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shama Obaid Islam, reportedly confirmed the details on October 17.
The issue is not their nationality; it is the sanctity of Allah’s house.
A mosque is a place of worship, prayer, and remembrance of Allah—not a place for immoral behaviour.
Let us respect the sacredness of our places of worship and stop spreading unverified claims. Know the facts before sharing rumours.

The funniest thing to do when you encounter an astrology person is to lie about your sign. They're always like "OMG that makes so much sense!" because the trick is that the descriptions of each sign are so vague that you can apply any of them to anyone.

I admire Taylor Swift's outright refusal to make anything that will gag gay guys. She denies the autogynephilic fantasy projection and nowadays that is brave.

That is your faith. You can’t murder others for not abiding by it. And it’s a murder, ghastly murder, stop doing mental gymnastics to defend it.
