Some of you are genuinely not worthy of being Manchester United fans.
So because Brentford posted a Sangaré clip after their game on Sunday, all of a sudden we should have gone for him?
The same Sangaré you didn’t even want to hear about because you were busy twerking for Anderson, Mateus Fernandes, Tonali, Bruno Guimarães, etc.
We have done our rebuild and brought in the midfielders we needed. Are you not supposed to MOVE ON?
Why are you under Brentford’s post asking, “How did we miss him?” Or saying, “United should have paid £85m for Mateus Fernandes”?
Can you just shut up?
So every time another club makes a good signing, you’re going to react like Manchester United somehow missed out?
You people are fucking annoying. Some of you genuinely need to learn how to support your club instead of constantly obsessing over what everyone else is doing.
Remember this same ten hag signed werghost, Zirkzee, Malacia, Mount and Ugarte. LOL
🚨 Erik ten Hag to ESPN NL: “When I started the job at Man United, I explained to Cristiano Ronaldo the style of play we intended to adopt”.
“But ultimately, you have to bring something to the table yourself… and he no longer had the ability to endure the hard work required”.
“That means pushing himself to his absolute limits every day, training at maximum intensity, and maintaining peak physical fitness”.
That’s why Bayer Leverkusen have to basically admit they should have sacked him after their very first meeting, despite eventually giving him the job and then dismissing him after just two league games. 🤣
Ten Hag is a fool. And of course, Fabrizio will milk every bit of it as well since it’s not Messi. A fool of a journalist!
He will never financially recover from this.
He will never financially recover from this.
A player proclaimed to be the best No. 10 in the Premier League is being moved away from his preferred and supposedly BEST position.
That alone proves a point. 😭
If your best player is that good in his supposedly best position, why are we having to move him elsewhere to make the system work?
Like I said in my previous post, I will never understand blaming the board for poor recruitment when we’re failing to beat 10-man Spurs, Man City, Hull City and Fulham. 😭
Maybe when we fail to reach the UCL Round of 16, get knocked out before the Carabao Cup semi-finals, or find ourselves struggling around matchday 26 in the Premier League, then we can have a serious conversation about recruitment.
But when you’re losing to everybody in the opening few games of the season, at what point do we hold the manager and the players accountable?
Recruitment can be questioned, absolutely. But it cannot become the excuse for every single poor performance. At some point, we have to admit that the problem goes beyond the players the board failed to sign.
Like… the way you carry Manchester United in your mind and heart ehn, you genuinely need peace, my brother.
Number 1: You’ve said a lot of lies about me in this group. You claimed I said Manchester United shouldn’t buy players. When exactly did I say that? What I said was that we should buy the right players for the right price. I’m tired of seeing us spend ridiculous transfer fees on shite players simply because we’re desperate.
Number 2: The two major things the board received the most criticism for this summer were the left-back situation and the decision to integrate Rashford back into the team. I agreed with those criticisms, and I still do.
But do you genuinely believe the left-back situation is the reason we keep dropping points against 10-man teams? Is that why we couldn’t beat Spurs despite having a goal and a numerical advantage with just 11 minutes left? Was the left-back responsible for losing to Hull?
Let’s be honest with ourselves.
Every game we’ve played this season was winnable, either because we had a better squad than our opponents or because the circumstances of the game favoured us, including the red cards our opponents received.
So, are you telling me that not buying more players is the reason Martinez made the error that led to a goal against Fulham? Or that it’s why he lost his man against Spurs?
It’s not like injuries have started piling up and we’ve lost important players without adequate replacements. Or that we’ve faced genuinely top-level opponents and struggled to compete with them.
At what point do we stop making excuses for these players?
We keep making things easy for players who have consistently failed to live up to expectations. Players who have benefited from the same INEOS and Glazer mismanagement that we constantly criticise. Somehow, whenever they underperform, the blame always shifts to the board, the manager, or the transfer window.
How long are we going to keep doing this?
For me, Martinez is being hypocritical when he criticises others while failing to take responsibility for his own mediocre performances. You cannot keep throwing your teammates under the bus when your own performances are also questionable.
If Martinez had performed to the level expected of him, who knows? We might not have needed to grind out that result (draw) against Fulham. We could have drawn or even beaten Manchester City, certainly had a better chance of beating Spurs, and potentially stood a better chance against Atlético.
That’s my point: not every problem at Manchester United can be solved by buying another player.
Sometimes, the players we already have need to take responsibility and perform to the level they’re being paid to deliver.
And when you talk about where the club should have invested this summer, I’d argue that the defence is the area that needs the most serious rebuilding.
We need better recruitment, absolutely. But we also need to stop treating these players like helpless victims of poor recruitment every time they make costly mistakes.
You can criticise the board and still hold the players accountable. Both things can be true.
Martinez being the hero now? He’s has been a major part of our problem this season
You will banter us on the pitch and you will still banter us online. Is this a football club?
In case you missed it, our fifth annual Stadium Sleep Out will take place next month 🏟️
