Plus, life teaches that crowds must not be equated to VOTER TURNOUT ON D-DAY
I’ve said this countless times but to make it clearer again, guys, I’ve already publicly stated my support for Sifuna and the dream for a reimagined Kenya countless times. I write about him in national newspaper. As for the rallies and other events I still can’t go because it’s just two months post my surgery and I need two more months to make sure the surgery was successful 🥹 this is my chance at hearing again.
What we need to do as young people again is to organize well. For parliament, for political seats.

Katiba Institute’s founding vision was captured in the commitment to “Protect and promote the Constitution”.
The founders understood that this objective required more than issuing statements in support of constitutional values.
It demanded practical action to ensure that constitutional rights were respected, government obligations were enforced, and public institutions were held accountable.

Totally needless war , growing up in Marsabit I have always known Moyale to be home for Boranas and Oromos including Konsos all the way to Addis. Well this scarcity mentality is totally unnecessary. There is enough for everyone to go round . What is this fight in midst of poverty ?

Any person holding themselves out as a Cabinet Secretary is engaged in a coup against the Constitution.
Starting today, any engagements or agreements executed by the current CS are illegal and void. Any public expenditure incurred by them is illegal and liable to a claim for recovery. Members of the public should be wary of dealings with the government and its cabinet entities, as they cannot claim ignorance as to it’s illegality.
The Cabinet is unconstitutional and in light of our laws cannot exercise any functional authority on behalf of the Kenyan.

The mother of Rex Maasai has left me deeply disappointed. I only discovered today that she is Luo.
We stood with Rex not because he was Luo, but because he was Kenyan. We demanded justice for a young man whose life was cut short. We saw Rex as one of our own, regardless of tribe.
But today, watching his mother forgive William Ruto, I cannot help but ask: has this country reduced justice to tribal loyalty? We stood with her son as Kenyans, yet she appears willing to forgive Ruto as a Luo who believes he is a good man.
If she can forgive William Ruto, why can’t she publicly declare her forgiveness for Isaak Murangiri, the police officer who shot her son dead?
Why Ruto, and not the man who pulled the trigger? – at Nairobi, Kenya

Seeing Mohammed Ali actually brings horrible memories and reality 🥲 my brain understands the concept of united opposition but my heart can’t take the fact that we need to work together with the same people that voted for the finance bill 2024 and said this as well. People who have blood on their hands 😔

The government will order indiscriminate attacks on its young population, kill some of them, and if you’re lucky, send a panel to your home with a state apology and a measly KSh 3 million in compensation; as though that’s all a young life is worth.
Ooh, we truly are children of a lesser god! 😭💔

Philip Kipkemoi Langat has gone to court to stop IEBC from holding next year’s elections because the boundary review was not done. Do not act surprised. The Ruto government created this mess.
They had power to appoint IEBC commissioners early. They waited until late. They let the legal deadline die, then sent a case to court saying: no new boundaries, no election. That is not justice. That is delay by design.
The law is simple. Article 89 says IEBC must review constituency and ward boundaries every 8 to 12 years, and finish that work at least 12 months before a general election. Last review: March 2012. It should have been done by March 2024. For the 10 August 2027 election, new maps needed to be ready by 10 August 2026. That date has already passed.
So this case cannot honestly “save” 2027. It can only confuse the country.
And it cannot extend Ruto’s term. A court file on maps does not add years to a presidency. The Constitution already fixed the election date. Extra time needs a constitutional amendment, not this petition.
Kenya voted in 2017 and 2022 on the same 2012 boundaries. Those seats remain legal until new ones are gazetted.
The Ruto government broke the referee, missed the window, then used court papers to scare people. We can see it. We are not fools. He must go.

In the last 14 days, I have praised and noted the brilliance, professionalism and integrity of these three Kenyans—Dr. Mutakha Kangu, Mr. Waikwa Wanyoike and Ms. Yvonne Okwara—as I have of other global citizens like @LulaOficial.
Before then, I noted the patriotism of Dr. Nyikal and Aduma Owuor.
But the gullible, naive and/or cheerleaders of the organized bandits want me to recognize their thugs, looters, tribalists and impunity merchants.
I won’t. I can’t. I will never do so.
My focus is on organic intellectualism, INTEGRITY and professionalism. I don’t admire power, wealth of influence and will never support any of the mediocre bandits merely on account that they chant WanTam or TuTam.
If you are seeking my approval, improve on your ability to think, have values of integrity, professionalism and honesty—and stop being a member of the organized bandits.
Telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
