Trump is banning students majoring in degrees that don’t make enough money from taking out college loans. Degrees for social work, art, religious studies, teaching aides, and music will be hit the hardest. trib.al/NmmAzhf

Trump Moves to Cut Off Student Loans for Tons of College Programs

Under a new rule, if a college program’s graduates don’t make enough money, it won’t be eligible for student loans.

Out of all the interactions, this one stuck with me the most: I had a black child come up to me absolutely flipping out, just overly excited and asking so many questions. I spoke with his mom after and she was so happy and relived to see another black paleontologist❤️

Can somebody explain the issue with people posting abstracts? I don’t do it but I’d be so happy if I saw people excitedly discussing my abstract online.

What with all these posts flaring up about the lab label on a specimen at a U Chicago lab, I want to remind people in advance that the @SVP_vertpaleo abstracts for this year's conference are coming out soon and that you are OBLIGED NOT TO POST ABOUT THEM before the meeting.

Big Brands killed yall by taking their product back. You all killed the game with bots for your stores. In turn they just started to produce more pairs so we no longer have scarcity and you all become obsolete. Another note, yall stores suck. Dudes be in a plaza next to Marshall.

It never occurred to me how quiet the early to mid Permian probably was. External ears and ear drums hadn’t evolved in synapsids, the dominate life on land. Being functionally deaf to most sounds/frequencies means no real point in audio communication

Drexel has decided to close the first ever natural history museum in the country because it cost less than 1% their annual expenses.
Daniel Pearson@DPearsonPHLSep 1
This is crazy and needs to be rectified. It is genuinely hard to believe that the city cannot sustain a museum that's been around since before the Civil War. inquirer.com/education/acade…

The Academy of Natural Sciences is closing its museum after nearly two centuries

The closure does not affect the rest of the institution, which builds and maintains the collections and conducts research through departments such as the Patrick Center for Environmental Research.

Halloween: The Game
@HalloweenTVGAug 24
Halloween: The Game provides handy in-game maps that help players track down residents, key items, escape routes, and other points of interest. Just don't take your eyes off the shadows for too long, or Michael may deliver a violent interruption.

Ngl I don’t recommend it unless it’s your pathway to some real money. Otherwise you’d be better off putting those years into moving up in your career via experience.
