If you are on macOS Ventura and you can’t install a TestFlight beta for either @parcel_app or @DebitCreditApp - this is “normal”, there is a bug in Ventura that prevents TestFlight from working. Apple is aware of this bug and hopefully will fix it.

I am keeping refining lock screen widgets for iOS 16 both for @parcel_app and @DebitCreditApp. With Parcel, the day dounter is now available only as a separate widget to allow the bigger rectangular widget fit more text. Debit & Credit will get more relevant icons for budgets.

Playing with a new potential map pin design for @parcel_app. I like the icons in the pins but they are also a bit too wide, especially when used in a smaller map view like a widget. What is your take on this?

Parcel 7.1 beta for Mac is now available on TestFlight. For now it is available only to users running macOS 12 with a developer account though. Thanks @stroughtonsmith for the tip on how to make the TestFlight link work. parcel.app/mac-beta.html

In the HomePod Mini video Siri is able to respond to “What’s my update?” request. I would be nice if Apple allowed 3rd party apps to provide data for it, I can totally see @parcel_app providing information about packages coming today.

If you run an app clip from TestFlight, its main app will be deleted from a device. Makes testing hard but I guess it is a technical requirement. Still can’t make the app clip work in TestFlight though, there are server side problems in the App Store Connect.

The new widgets for @parcel_app and @DebitCreditApp are now available in TestFlight. However, they require either iOS 14 developer beta 4 or the next public beta which should arrive today or tomorrow.
