When religious personalities normalise questionable practices under the covering of revelation those who are immature in the faith confuse charisma with character, popularity with authority and, personal liberty with divine approval. Paul warned that a time would come when people would refuse sound doctrine and they would literally bring teachers who would accommodate their desires. In 2nd Timothy 3 and 4, Paul tries to demonstrate that consent does not automatically establish righteousness, sincerity doesn’t guarantee sound doctrine neither does cultural acceptance determine biblical truth. This is precisely why the church must have courage to distinguish between what is permissible in culture and what is prescribed within the context of the doctrine of the body of Christ.

Post Covid, Otabil began to steer the ship in a different direction. He has been doing it carefully and tactfully for at least 4 years now. His biggest advantage is that he was not always overtly dramatic on the pulpit or his messaging. Years down the line you can hear CLEARLY that he has removed himself or departed from the ‘fake gospel’ of money, spiritual rankings, apostolic or ‘man of God’ phenomena and many other Pentecostal errors. Sadly, he is still trying to balance a few things between where he is coming from and where he needs to be going because he doesn’t want to offend old friends or circles that are still stuck in the yesteryear madness. Unlike Damina who just went for it we also have Mike Onkonkwo trying to toe the line of ‘covenant religion’ which belongs to Jews. I pray that this transition will help others recognize their false gospel and messages and we see the body of Christ fully present in the earth.

License to SIN. If nobody has ever accused you of giving people a license to sin, you might not be preaching what Paul preached because Paul got that exact accusation in Romans 3 8. People claimed he was teaching “let us do evil that good may come” and then Romans 6 1 says are we to “continue in sin that Grace may abound” and Romans 6:15, “are we to sin because we're not under law, but under Grace”? Think about that because no one asked those questions about a message of behavior management. Paul only got those questions because he preached Grace so big it sounded dangerous to religious people. Look at how he answered it. He didn't say, well, we still have rules. No! He said, “by no means” then he told them why. It's because sin is not who you are anymore. You died to it. You were raised into new life. Romans 6:14 says, “sin will have no dominion over you, since you're not under law but under Grace”. Not being under law is the reason sin loses its power, not the reason that it's allowed. Look at the logic behind the objection: If people know they're forgiven, they'll go sin. (That's assuming that the only thing keeping people from sin is fear of punishment). And if that's the case, that's not freedom, that's a leash. That's slavery. A person who only avoids sin because they're scared has not been changed. They've just been restrained and on top Of that nobody needs a license to sin. We were doing sin quite well before we ever heard about Grace. Nobody has ever needed permission. What believer wakes up in the morning and says, “well, I'm free in Christ, so how can I sin as much as possible today”? Nobody, because that's ridiculous. It doesn't happen. Grace doesn't awaken that desire. It actually awakens gratitude. Romans 6 2 says, “how can we, who died to sin still live in it”? You don't crave what you've been set free from. So here's a question for anyone who says this. If you knew God wouldn't punish you, would you suddenly go sin as much as you want? If the answer is yes, then that's not a problem with Grace. That's a heart issue. I would say that that person probably doesn't truly understand the gospel and speaking of behavior management, Paul says that “the law actually aroused sinful passions” in Romans 7 5. I mean, we've been trying behavior management for a few thousand years. How's that been going for us? So what actually changes people? Titus 2:11 and 12 says, “the Grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people”, and it trains us to say no to ungodliness. Grace is the teacher. Romans 2 4 says, “it's his kindness that leads to repentance” and 2 Corinthians 5:14 says, “the love of Christ compels us”. So if someone says, your message gives license to sin, you can just smile because Paul got the same accusation. The only gospel that gets accused of it is the one that's actually free.

FALSE GOSPEL. (How don you know it). How do you know if what you're hearing is actually a false gospel? Not every false gospel sounds obviously wrong. A lot of them sound very spiritual and scriptural and very convincing. So how do you actually know the difference? Paul gives us the test, and it's actually pretty simple. In Galatians 1 6-9 , Paul’s unamused and he says, “I m astonished that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you and turning to a different gospel”. Then he says, “if anyone preaches a different gospel, let him be accursed”. So what exactly makes a gospel ‘different’? Paul answers that, and then he actually gives us three tests. Test 1: does it add to the finished work of Jesus, verse 6-7. The false teachers were adding circumcision to be justified, a requirement on top of grace. Any gospel that says grace plus your performance, plus what you do, plus your correct doctrine, or plus your consistency, plus anything to be justified has already failed the test. The finished work does not need a plus sign. Test 2: Does it produce fear? Does it produce rest? 2 Corinthians 11:3, Paul warns the Corinthians about being led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. Anything that keeps you anxious, constantly checking whether you've done enough, constantly bracing for disappointment from God, et cetera, it isn't producing the fruit that the finished work of Christ produces. Hebrews 4 calls it ‘rest’ for a reason. A gospel that never lets you rest was never actually the gospel. Test 3: Does it centre on you? Or does it centre on Christ’s finished work? 2 Corinthians 11 4 warns about a different Jesus being preached a different gospel which in turn produces a different spirit. Anything that subtly makes the message about your effort or your discipline or your achievement or anything you do, rather than what Christ already accomplished, has shifted the center of gravity to you where it isn't supposed to be. So when something sounds biblical or convincing, but it still leaves you anxious or striving or focused on yourself instead of Him, run it through these three tests. Does it add to the finished work? Does it produce fear instead of rest? Does it center on you instead of on Christ? If it fails any of those, it's a different gospel, and it undermines the cross, and it's not the true Good News.

It just takes ONE MAN among other willing men to stand up, speak it out and ACT ON IT! Look at Singapore today.

Thanklessness. There are people we have taken into our homes to live with us, eat what we eat and sleep where we sleep (in some cases literally). We gave these people a beginning at no cost to them but sacrificially at our own. We fought battles for them they did not see or know but we did it in service to Him. After a while, they grew and life turned the corner for them and suddenly they became ‘higher’ than us and became entitled to things they had no right to claim. The same people’s hearts grew cold and almost hateful towards the very person/people who helped give them a chance in this life. It’s amazing how people can become focused on minor events that makes them forget where they came from. They forget the years of kindness, patience and sacrifice. They forget that the lives they have today passed through a willing soul that could have rejected them. Our own went without certain things that we didn’t have to just to help. If that is not enough, the same people now have gone and speak poorly (if not evil) of us. How can human beings be this way? Where your name is spoken they do not distance themselves from it but are actual partakers of it all? Thank God all we ever wanted was just to be a blessing. It hurts but it passes. May anyone who has ever helped someone and one day felt like regretting it never do so. May your heart never grow too cold towards humanity that you withhold your kindness. Life can be thankless. Blessings

This saddens true believers… It’s unfortunate that Zigo here tries to do something that he is not qualified or knowledgeable to do. Both the video referenced and him are completely confused and clearly share biblical illiteracy. To avoid a lecture, Romans 13:1–3 cannot be read or interpreted without its immediate historical-cultural context in first-century Rome and the theological framework of the "revelation of the mystery" (which Paul defines in Romans 16:25-26 and Ephesians 3:3-6 as the unfolding of God's eternal plan to unite Jews and Gentiles into one body through Christ). Same can be said about first Peter etc. In the final analysis, Zigo must have noted that Chipoyera referred to ‘spirituality’ (another spirit Paul calls it) not Christianity. There is a lot of spirituality without fundamental biblical theology so whatever he was saying doesn’t need and cannot be reconciled with the holy scriptures (bible). It has nothing to with Christ but humanism. Even when we come to the Bible, there is much skill (right division) that is required for scriptural appropriation and application in order to uncover the meaning of the scriptures. Lastly, for now, “the commands of God are not burdensome” (1 John 5 2-4) because true love for God changes the believer’s hearts, making obedience an act of joy rather than a heavy weight. One can’t say a fish finds water burdensome. If it is, it’s because it’s not a fish.

What hope is there for the future of ‘Christianity’? This man is revered and reputed as one of Ghana and Africa’s foremost ‘fathers of the faith’ today. If you listen to him here you can’t and won’t identify a single scriptural or biblical principle he says. It is all FLESH and none of the Lord Jesus’ Spirit. When anyone raises men to follow you because of you or after you (your spirit kind) you must not expect anything pure or identifiable with Christ. Just how it’s said here you hear that the ‘raising’ is full of manipulation, intimidation, control and idolatry. What loyalty does he refer to? Which Bible doctrine is he teaching from that concerns this loyalty? Now it’s satanic and a curse? If you go to Christ or Pauline models and templates (which is Christ for the church) you can’t recognize where all these ‘high-minded’ ideas come from. No man is called or sent into the world to raise people AFTER HIM but ONLY AFTER CHRIST. The so called loyalty is ONLY TO CHRIST who is the MESSAGE. Ministry in Christianity is about pointing or directing people to Christ not any human foolishness which is open to weakness and flaws in the flesh. So long humans try to take the place of Christ and His church because we want notoriety and fiefdoms we are setting ourselves up for complete failure. If this nonsense is what is passed on to the next generation of believers we must not get shocked by the outcomes. May the Lord help us. Side note: this Boateng’s father and Boateng is someone’s father here in Zimbabwe.

Of ‘spiritual warfare’ by illiterates vs what the Bible actually teaches… Before I paint your mind someway, let us exegete two very popular scripture references that are erroneously used to teach and practice strange things. At ehe end of them both, I wish for you to conclude what Paul was saying and what he was instructing…. 2 Corinthians 10 4-6 1. Verse-by-Verse Verse 4: The Weapons of Warfare "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;" "Weapons of our warfare are not carnal [fleshly]": Paul contrasts human strategies (eloquence, social status, deceit, and manipulation) with spiritual ones. "Mighty through God" (dynata tō Theō): The Greek structure implies "divinely powerful" or "powerful in God’s sight." The source of this power is entirely supernatural, not human intellect or charisma. "Pulling down of strongholds" (kathairesin ochyrōmatōn): In the ancient world, a stronghold was a fortified military fortress or tower. Spiritually, Paul defines these "strongholds" not as demons, but as entrenched, faulty mindsets and belief systems. Verse 5: The Mental Battlefield "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" "Casting down imaginations" (logismous): This translates to arguments, reasonings, or philosophies. Paul is attacking prideful, humanistic rationalizations that reject God's truth. "Every high thing that exalteth itself": This is a direct allusion to military siege works or high towers built to oppose an advancing army. It represents human pride and intellectual arrogance that block the "knowledge of God." "Bringing into captivity" (aichmalōtizontes): A vivid military term meaning to take a prisoner of war. "Every thought to the obedience of Christ": The ultimate goal of spiritual warfare is total surrender. Individual thoughts (noēma—mental designs, perceptions, or impulses) are captured and subjugated to Christ’s authority. What have you learnt from this before we go to Ephesians?

Of ‘spiritual warfare’ …. Now let’s come to Ephesians 6:10–12. Paul transitions to the grand finale of his letter. Having spent chapters 1–3 establishing the believer's theological identity in Christ, and chapters 4–6 outlining how to walk that out in everyday life, Paul concludes by revealing the cosmic reality behind daily struggles. He uses the imagery of a fully armored Roman soldier to prepare the church for spiritual combat. Verse 10: The Source of Strength "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might." “Be strong in the Lord” (endynamousthe en Kyriō): The Greek verb is a present passive imperative. This is highly significant: it means "allow yourself to be continuously strengthened by an outside source." Believers do not generate their own strength; they receive it by remaining rooted in Christ. “In the power of his might”: Paul stacks three distinct Greek power words together here: dynamis(inherent strength/power), kratos (manifested dominion), and ischys (enduring muscle/might). Paul is reminding the church that the very same power that raised Jesus from the dead (Ephesians 1:19–20) is available to them. Verse 11: “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." “The whole armour of God” (panoplia): This refers to the complete suit of armor worn by a heavy-armed Roman foot soldier. Leaving off even one piece creates a vulnerability. It is explicitly the armor of God—the same divine warrior armor God Himself wears in Isaiah 59:17. “That ye may be able to stand” (stēnai): This is a defensive military command. Paul does not order believers to advance, attack, or conquer territory. Christ has already secured the victory. The believer's job is simply to hold the ground Christ has won. “The wiles of the devil” (methodeias): This is the root word for "methods." Satan rarely uses head-on, brute-force attacks. Instead, he uses calculated strategies, trickery, deceit, lies, and subtle craftiness to exploit human weakness. Verse 12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." “We wrestle” (palē): This refers to hand-to-hand, close-quarters combat. In ancient Greek wrestling, the loser had their eyes gouged out or was choked to death. This indicates that spiritual warfare is intensely personal and life-altering. “Not against flesh and blood”: Paul clarifies that human beings—whether they are difficult bosses, hostile governments, or frustrating family members—are never the ultimate enemy. They are merely captive to the true enemy. NOTICE THIS; Paul lists four categories of spiritual forces to show how organized and extensive the kingdom of darkness is: * "Principalities" (archas): Cosmic rulers or high-ranking demonic beings over territories. * "Powers" (exousias): Authorities executing evil designs. * "Rulers of the darkness of this world" (kosmokratoras): "World-rulers" of darkness, implying systemic, cultural, and global spiritual blindness. * "Spiritual wickedness in high places": Evil forces operating in the heavenly/supernatural realm (epouraniois). Now, what have you observed from these 2 key references that are often used by Pentecostal charismatics to make people punch the air for hours, scale mountains and even spend the whole night blowing hot air?

DO NOT BE DECEIVED… I know the presentation (in all its expressions) may appear impressive or attractive to the carnal … you must not be so easily deceived by poor Bible interpretation and/or application. When I commented on another video someone asked me why I consider this to be fallacious and dangerous … I have a lot I can say to break it all the way down but let summarize for now. The fundamental fallacy can be reduced to this: The 7 Mountains doctrine takes a prophetic promise concerning the future establishment of the LORD's kingdom from Zion, converts “mountain” into seven modern cultural institutions, and then assigns that supposed mandate to the Church. There are at least five separate errors involved: 1Contextual error — Isaiah 2/Micah 4 are not talking about seven cultural spheres. 2Numerical error — neither passage identifies seven mountains. 3Prophetic-program error — the passages concern Israel, Zion and the Messianic kingdom. 4Dispensational error — the prophetic program is applied directly to the Body of Christ. 5Kingdom error — Christ's future earthly kingdom is confused with the present ministry of the Body of Christ. Indulge me… When we come to Paul's epistles, we find a very different emphasis as regards the Church. Paul's commission involves: 1. The preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery (Romans 16:25) 2. The gospel of the grace of God
(Acts 20:24) 3. Reconciliation (2 Corinth 5:18–20) 4. Making all men see the fellowship of the mystery (Ephesians 3:9) 5. The preaching of Christ (Philippians 1:15–18) And the goal is NOT TO “Take control of the seven mountains.” Paul's emphasis is: “Preach the word” (2 Timothy 4:2) and: “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).
