Pre orders available now of The Friendly Baker - I’m super proud of how it’s turned out, fabulous allergy-friendly and plant-based bakes #allergyfriendly #foodallergy #plantbased mezepublishing.co.uk/product…
Such awful customer service @TheAA_UK - patronising and verging on rude
Serious allergen labelling error @marksandspencer - only in French on the small bags does it say ‘not suitable for a milk allergy’. Why is this not on the English label or on the outside of the multipack bag? My daughter narrowly avoided eating these only because she reads French
What is the current situation with EZY8388 from Figari - we are seriously delayed with no information from @easyJet

Apparently Fairytale of New York by The Pogues with the wonderful Kirsty MacColl isn't well known outside of Ireland and the UK (not even in New York!)
If you're one of my international friends who doesn't know it, you're in for a treat for the next four minutes:
The best start to Christmas, watching in Winchester. Absolutely magical dancing #RBOCinderella

I’m a consultant in private practice in London and I treat patients covered by private medical insurance every day.
If you think it’s better in the UK, think again.
I’ll share some stories I and my colleagues see every day. After reading these please DM me or share your own 🧵
I keep coming across posts bashing the NHS, saying it’s broken, often from one not great experience. Well unfortunately we’ve had a lot of involvement with the NHS this year for 3 family members and the care has been outstanding #NHS /1
Yes we’ve had waits at A&E but maybe we should blame an unhealthy, aging population rather than the people providing care. Everyone who works in the NHS works under pressure most people can’t imagine and they do so with enthusiasm, dedication and grace #NHS /3
Don’t buy into the ‘oh it’s awful’ rhetoric, it’s an incredible service and if you don’t like it, go and pay for what you presume will be better (it won’t be as all the true experts and amazing equipment are in the NHS) oh and I don’t work in healthcare I just appreciate it #NHS

Today is World Anaphylaxis Day! Anaphylaxis can happen anytime, anywhere. Recognising symptoms and knowing how to use an adrenaline auto-injector (AAI) can save lives. Time is critical which is why everyone should know how to respond!

It's been snowing in the UK and the road gritters are out in force, begging the question:
Have you ever wondered where that grit actually COMES from?
The answer is more magical, beautiful and fascinating than you probably realised.

"Inheritance tax relief" introduced in 1984 turned "owning agricultural land into having a licence to avoid inheritance tax," Professor Paul Cheshire tells #PoliticsLive
It led to a "four-fold increase in the price of agricultural land", he adds

The man who made things a whole lot more difficult for farmers, now has the cheek to cosplay as a farmer, while claiming to be on their side.
Absolute charlatan.

The term Restaur-Not, coined by @AuthorFleur's son, has helped their family diffuse negative emotions when FAs thwart dining plans. Get Restaur-Not tips, too.
