It was fab to be back with our patch packs yesterday at @uochester. We taught some basic sewing skills and helped with some fancy customisation. Was particularly nice to do this in front of @AmyTwiggerH's wonderful #fashionfictions World Tour exhibition.
Patch fans might be keen to join this - it's free and online!
Replying to @hasnakourda @uochester

Ooh, definitely of interest to us, too! Knowing materials through #craft is critical for more sustainable consumption. We'll be there on 16 May!

Yeah we are!! We're ramping up our plans for 2023 so it's great to be getting back into the mending groove with this event with @UoCVolunteering and @GreenChester

PUPC is most excited to see sashiko mending on @sewingbee tonight!
Lots more mends from today - buttons reattached, seams re-sewn and hems hitched! Thanks for having us @UoCVolunteering 😁
Excellent toe-darning in progress. This is an awkward mend, as we haven't had access to a small darning mushroom - a glue stick is doing the job(ish)!
It's great to be back with our first on-campus Pop-Up Patch Challenge of the year! Sock-darning, hem-mending, denim-patching... It's all going on! Bring us your repairs!
We're teaming up with @UoCVolunteering and Peer Mentoring for our pop-up event next week. Can't wait to get mending 🪡 #mendmarch
Anyone who patches, darns or otherwise fixes with us will be able to take home a mini repair kit, complete with one of our new PUPC labels! 😁
Warming up for our first in-person #popuppatchchallenge since the start of the pandemic with a little light sock darning. If you're at Exton Park @uochester on 17 March, pop over to Grosvenor and bring your loose buttons, dropped hems or other garment gripes - we can help!
We so enjoyed sharing ideas for repairs and repurposings at today's @EcoCommunities_ 'Breaking Up with Fast Fashion' event. Was great to team up with Molly and Stan - loads of inspiration for new things to try - although Stan's parrot waistcoat will take some beating!
We're so excited to be part of @EcoCommunities_ event this weekend. It's been a quiet year for pop-ups but this will set us up nicely for our return in 2021! Bring your repair and repurposing questions, folks!!
