Back in October 1993 Celtic were in real trouble. Struggling on and off the park, the support disenchanted with those running the club and without a league win at home that season. Things needed to change. tirnaog09.blogspot.com/2026/…

This is Lee Milne (bottom right), from Dundee.
He abused his wife, Kimberly Milne (bottom left), over a prolonged period.
Lee seized Kimberly by the neck, restricted her breathing, repeatedly punched her head and body, struck her so she fell and lost consciousness, and repeatedly choked her.
He also shouted and swore at her, called her names, tried to cut her off from her family, checked her phone, restricted her movements, and controlled her access to money and transport.
The Crown Office also reported that he restrained dragged her, and locked her in their flat without food or money.
CCTV from the day Kimberly died showed him acting aggressively towards her.
She was seen cowering as he shouted, walking away as he drove at her, and hiding behind a wall.
They later walked onto the same flyover.
Kimberly climbed over the barrier and fell to her death.
The jury found that Milne’s abusive behaviour caused her death.
He was convicted of culpable homicide and domestic abuse.
He received eight years in prison, followed by three years of supervision.
He has lodged an intention to appeal both his conviction and sentence.
Eight years in prison cannot bring Kimberly back.
But her name must not be lost in the details of this case.
This October, as domestic abuse awareness campaigns take place, remember that abuse is not only physical.
Coercion, isolation, intimidation and financial control can destroy a person’s safety and independence.
Remember her name: Kimberly Milne.

NAZA. The most important movie of our age.
Netanyahu just demanded it be banned. And that’s the loudest endorsement it could ever have wished for.
They’re so scared of you seeing it they even put out a counterfeit film on YouTube with the same name to try and bury it.
So what are they so terrified of?
The film shows uses testimonies of actual IDF soldiers that were sickened by what they were involved in. It shows you exactly what they don’t want you to see in Gaza.
Watch it before it’s gone.
Follow if you’re done with their version.

He won the US Open as an amateur and got no prize money.
He was refused a visa by South Africa for years for being Black.
And in 1992 a newspaper told him it was going to print his medical records, so he had to stand up in front of the world and announce he was dying.
He said: "I didn't commit any crime. I'm not running for public office. I should be able to reserve the right to my medical history."
He won the US Open in 1968, Wimbledon in 1975, and was the only Black man ever to win either.
He had heart surgery twice in the early 1980s and received a blood transfusion. The blood supply was not screened then. That is how he contracted HIV.
He told his family and kept it private for three and a half years, which was his right and which in 1988 was also basic self-protection — people with the virus were losing homes, jobs and children.
In April 1992 a reporter rang him, said the paper had it, and asked him to confirm. He was given twenty-four hours.
So he called a press conference, with his wife beside him, and announced it himself rather than let it be done to him.
He then spent the last ten months of his life founding an AIDS foundation, campaigning, and being arrested outside the White House protesting the treatment of Haitian refugees.
He died in February 1993 at forty-nine.
He had been arrested for protesting apartheid, arrested for protesting Haitian deportations, and outed by a newspaper for having had heart surgery.

GARVAGHY ROAD FINAL UPDATE:
Ok folks - That's a wrap... 🇮🇪
It has been an honour to spread the message about this fight for justice. To report all the things that the Mainstream Media would never cover... I will still give some updates about the Court Cases on Monday, but I do not expect anything to change.
One thing is certain - An Orange Parade will never, ever, go down the Garvaghy Road again... ✊
Thanks to all of the people who messaged me in the past 2 weeks from far & wide around the Globe to tell me about their protests & demos. Hopefully we can stay in touch in the times ahead...
Thanks to every single Political Party, every activist group and every single ordinary person around the World who supported this fight for justice. You know who you are...🇮🇪
This campaign proved how important it is for different groups to stand together in a common cause. We can really acheive a new, better Ireland if we just stick together. We have more in common than divides us... 🇮🇪
On just a purely very personal level, I want to thank Michelle O'Neill and Mary Lou and all of the Sinn Fein activists who stood on the front line on Garvaghy Road on that very first night... 🇮🇪
Without your presence and influence, I am not sure that this battle could (or would) have been won...
You have restored my faith again in the politics of protest and resistance . You stood alongside the people & you never left...✊
Keep it that way...
And finally, Garvaghy Road... Music, banter, generosity, determination, bravery and an unbreakable spirit...
This fight was really about human rights. And the right humans won...
Slán go fóill ✊🇮🇪

MORNING UPDATE - GARVAGHY ROAD - THURSDAY - DAY 12 🇮🇪
🔘 Everyday so far, has brought something different , but yesterday something changed. Something definitely changed... There is now frustration... And also annoyance...
The British Secretary of State, Chris Bryant, has been virtually anonymous in the past week. Nowhere to be seen... There is still no High Court Judgement. The people are now taking action...
🔘 Yesterday Nationalist Residents Groups from all across the North of Ireland met in Portadown. A statement was issued. If the Orange Order continue to attempt to march down the Garvaghy Road then all other agreements about contentious parades across the North of Ireland will have to be revisited. Enough is enough...
🔘 The people are taking to the streets. Tomorrow (Friday) a protest will be held outside the NIO Offices in Belfast City Centre.
And on Saturday, thousands will be taking to the streets. Three big rallies in three major locations;
Belfast City Hall - 12pm.
Derry Guildhall - 12pm.
Newry Town Hall - 12pm.
Breandan Mac Cionnath will be Chief Speaker at the Derry Rally. (Derry the city famous for those Civil Rights rallies in the 1970's) - And yet here we are again...
🔘 Folk singer, John Spillane from County Cork came to the Garvaghy Road yesterday to entertain the people. The musicians never let the people down... The Garvaghy Road Residents also held a protest last night in support of the people of Palestine. 🇸🇩
🔘 Legendary American guitarist, musician and activist Tom Morello from RageAgainst The Machine added his name to the list supporting the Garvaghy Road Residents.
🔘 The Unionist Political Parties continue to call for the arrest of protestors and have submitted a "no confidence motion" in our First Minister Michelle O'Neill. It will not succeed...
Unionism is now led by 3 Party Leaders who are all a throwback to the last Century of Unionist domination. Their anger, their outrage... There is no difference between any of them.
They are so cocooned in their bubble that they cannot see what is happening - They are now disconnected from sizeable parts if their own Protestant community. Something is changing. People want something different... A new and better Ireland....
We will see what today brings.
Support the people. Attend the Rallies. Deliver a message....
