Just wanna say thank you so much for the last 3 and a bit seasons
You’ve been immense for us. Not just coaching but doing all the shitty bits that no one sees. Without you doing it then it all doesn’t work.
Big loss but now is the right time for you to be a manager ❤️⚽️
My time at @BedfordTown comes to an end. After 2 fantastic seasons with the club, earning 2 straight promotions and winning the league this year. Myself and @LEEBIRCH have agreed now is the perfect time for me to try something new as of next season.
coaches and players alike, whilst under Birchys stewardship and could not be more grateful for all the lessons learned along the way! I look forward to the next chapter on my football journey and whether that’s in management, coaching or otherwise…
You’re just a youth coach, they won’t respect you, you’re not good enough… 4 seasons, 3 promotions, 2 cup wins, 2 league championships. From step 5 to step 2 in 3 seasons across two teams. Topping it off by winning the league with Bedford Town in the most dramatic fashion.
Whatever anyone wants to say we have earned this the hard way. An achievement to be proud of and one that no one will quickly forget. I don’t make any comment on myself normally, working hard in the background is what has got me this far. But this one I am proud of.

🏆 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS - 2025 🏆
A proud & emotional Lee Bircham & Ryan Blake reflect after leading Bedford Town to the title:
This is for everyone who stood by us. This is for Bedford Town.” 💙🦅
History made. Legacy built.
