It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Bryan Milford.
Last year, Bryan was elected as an Honorary Life Member of the NCU, a fitting recognition of his decades of exceptional service to cricket in Northern Ireland.
Bryan served as NCU General Secretary for almost 15 years before moving into the role of NCU President in 2024. He had also previously served as NCU Treasurer from 1999–2002 and as NCU Chair in 2004–05. His commitment, knowledge and dedication to the game made an enormous contribution to cricket across the region.
His service extended beyond administration, too. Bryan was a long standing and much valued member of Cooke Collegians Cricket Club, reflecting a lifelong passion for the game and the people within it.
The awarding of Honorary Life Membership was a testament to the lasting impact Bryan had on cricket and the NCU.
Our thoughts are with Bryan’s family, friends, colleagues and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.
Thomas Frank you stupid stupid man. Firstly your Eze faux pas and then that team selection. The end is nigh! @SpursOfficial
