the game is solid the multiplayer experience is not.

Classic COD public matches have always had campers, obviously. But the best versions of the game made aggressive play feel rewarding. You could run around, chain gunfights, build momentum, and rack up kills. When camo progression pushes everyone toward stationary, highly specific kills, the whole lobby's rhythm changes. Instead of a fast arcade shooter, you get a collection of people completing individual chores in the same match. My biggest criticism is that camo challenges should reward skillful variety without forcing players to sabotage the flow of a match. Rewarding kills shortly after sprinting, multikills, objective kills or kills after changing positions would encourage movement rather than discourage it.
