I fear this is bad timing as the Channel 4 show sucks up all the ADHD oxygen, but my new @BBCRadio4 documentary series starts on 24th.
First ep explores the Language of Neurodiversity. I’ve interviewed lots of people and try to hold the uncertainties.

All I’ll say is if this was AFCON and they let a man play after he got a red card, the nonsense being said would be crazy

It is important to resist the commodification of basic human needs. Food, water and healthcare cannot be subordinated to market considerations or geopolitical interests. Access to adequate food is a fundamental human right grounded in the dignity of every person. Meeting this need not only alleviates suffering but also addresses underlying causes of geopolitical instability. Indeed, food security is an essential component of global and integral security. vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/e…

I just thought I’d say I’m thinking of my Jewish friends at the moment. And the fact that I thought twice about posting this because (insanely) I feared some blowback for such a statement is part of the problem.

Over the weekend, a mosque was set ablaze, another was target of vandalism and young Muslim girls were targeted by someone with scissors.
This is the inevitable result of collective demonising an entire faith, a movement or an ethnicity.
It needs to end.

The consequences of the daily demonising, maligning , stereotyping and stigmatising of Muslims- from mainstream politicians to the far right , from sections of the media to extremism on social networks , this poisoning of the political discourse has to stop.
Over the last six weeks British Muslims, their places of worship and burial grounds have faced multiple attacks.
I listed some of these incidents this morning in an interview @TimesRadio
It’s time for government to take this issue seriously and respond with a full and comprehensive program to tackle Islamaphobia and anti Muslim racism.
