تلتزم دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة التزاماً راسخاً بحقوق الإنسان، وتقوم سياساتها على مبادئ المساواة والعدالة الاجتماعية واحترام كرامة الإنسان، تماشياً مع رؤية الوالد المؤسّس المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان، ’طيّب الله ثراه’.
وفي هذا السياق، تم إنشاء اللجنة الدائمة لحقوق الإنسان بقرار صادر عن مجلس الوزراء في أكتوبر 2019، للعمل على تعزيز سياسات حقوق الإنسان تماشياً مع المعايير الدولية المعتمدة في هذا الصدد.

The UAE is deeply committed to human rights, with its policies based on the principles of equality, social justice and respect for human dignity as defined by its founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first President of the UAE.
Reflecting this commitment, the UAE Council of Ministers established the Permanent Committee for Human Rights (PCHR) in October 2019 to advance human rights in line with internationally recognized standards.

The Law Respect Culture Bureau at the Ministry of Interior, in partnership with Abu Dhabi Councils, held a community Majlis at the Shakhbout Majlis in Abu Dhabi to discuss “Contemporary Family Challenges.” The gathering focused on increasing public awareness of the pressing issues confronting families today, exploring approaches to addressing them, and supporting family and social stability.
Maryam Abdulqader, Head of the Community Affairs Section at the Federal Social Support Department, examined the principal challenges facing families in light of ongoing social changes. She noted that a stable family is central to stronger social cohesion and to creating a secure and stable environment within the home.

The Ministry of Community Empowerment (@MOCEUAE), in partnership with the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (@FCSCUAE) and in coordination with local statistical centres, has launched the “Social Cohesion Index Survey” across the UAE.
The survey aims to measure the level of social cohesion and monitor the factors influencing it, while providing accurate national data and indicators that provide a clearer understanding of the realities and needs of society. It will also support the development of policies, programmes and initiatives aimed at strengthening social cohesion, quality of life and social stability.
The survey covers diverse segments of society, including citizens and residents across all emirates, as well as members of households and labour accommodation communities. The 15th @UN #CrimeCongress was our largest yet: more than 5,100 participants, 200+ events and 61 pledges for justice.
The Abu Dhabi Declaration, adopted by acclamation, gives us a shared direction. The pledges give us concrete commitments. Now we must take those commitments beyond this Congress, into laws, policies, courtrooms, communities, and the daily work of protecting people and the planet. We will carry this work forward through the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, when we meet again to track the progress made.
A special and heartfelt thank you to the UAE for its extraordinary generosity and hospitality. You opened your doors, shared your culture, your food and your warmth, and made Abu Dhabi feel like home to thousands of us.

احتفاءً باليوم العالمي للمسنين، نظمت وزارة الداخلية، ممثلة بإدارة العلاقات العامة، زيارة إنسانية ومجتمعية إلى كبار السن في مدينة الشيخ شخبوط الطبية بأبوظبي.
وجاءت الزيارة بهدف إدخال السعادة إلى نفوس كبار السن، من خلال توزيع الهدايا والتقاط الصور التذكارية معهم، وتوجيه رسالة شكر وامتنان تقديراً لعطائهم وجهودهم، واعتزازاً بدورهم الفاعل في المجتمع، باعتبارهم "بركة الدار" وركيزة أساسية في مسيرة البناء والعطاء.
