I love this video starring some of my heroes—and also some old housemates! "Voting is the act of choosing your opponent." Vote for the candidates social movements are most likely to be able to win gains from. youtu.be/q2CHfqJ3I5w?feature…

Well all right, let's do it!
I believe if taxpayers fund the development of a new medicine, they ought to be able to afford it. That's what today's action is all about.

Standing with @marganina to demand @XavierBecerra @SecBecerra take action to repeal and replace racist, puritan organ transplant policies that discriminated against—and killed— my brother. Secretary, update the guidelines by World AIDS Day.
One year ago today, the @HHSGov Advisory Council for Blood & Tissue Safety & Availability met to recommend that kidney & liver HOPE transplants become standard of care. This recc is collecting dust like all the other HHS recc's since 2015 wo Dept response. hhs.gov/oidp/advisory-commit…

Remember when Netscape was a search engine and the GFATM launched its early funding round with every dollar pledged - not a portion of funds actually on hand? Times change. My latest for @ThinkGlobalHlth @GlobalFund @WorldBank.thinkglobalhealth.org/articl…

Who from the governing wing is working on this?
A block of House Republicans should get together with Democrats to pick a speaker to run a coalition government, which will moderate the House and marginalize the extremists.

⚠️THERMONUCLEAR BAD—Hospitals completely overwhelmed in China ever since restrictions dropped. Epidemiologist estimate >60% of 🇨🇳 & 10% of Earth’s population likely infected over next 90 days. Deaths likely in the millions—plural. This is just the start—🧵

Lots of speculation about what went down in the infamous 2/1/20 teleconference. Lab leak proponents think Fauci conspired with an international group of experts to cover up lab origin because evil gain of function virologist cartel. Unsurprisingly, they are wrong.
After a long #FOIA fight, I just received a bunch of new unredacted emails detailing the Feb 1 2020 teleconference between Dr. Fauci and virologists discussing SARS-Cov-2: documentcloud.org/documents/…

Fairly similar sitch in NY+CA. Winnable seats were lost. Lots to unpack, but in general, blue state voters turned out at a 'take it for granted' rate, while purple states like PA MI AZ (and purple districts like NM-02 and KS-03) organized their hearts out to win.
Dems lost *five* NY seats that voted for Biden by more than the national result in ‘20 - including two that voted for Biden by double digits. You can’t really blame that on bad redistricting.
Lotta feels today for 1st woman @SpeakerPelosi. She + @LeaderHoyer have both been very supportive of people w/ AIDS. A new day with @RepJeffries (& slate) ahead—but much to be thankful for. Glad @WhipClyburn is staying in leadership with a new position. #ThankYouMadamSpeaker
Sad about Mike Gerson's untimely death at 58. Thank you for @PEPFAR.
Still flipping the pundit doom script! The House and Senate were always a longshot - but organizing makes the difference. And how awesome will it be to take Boebert's heavily R district??? bit.ly/DemBallotCure
Our path to a Democratic House runs through very close races in Arizona, California and Colorado. Thank you to all the grassroots volunteers helping us with phone banks and canvasses to reach voters who need to cure their ballots. Join us. bit.ly/DemBallotCure

Blood moon tonight is for the R hopes of a takeover. D gains in Senate and might even keep the House!

Well that assumed a 50% threshold in GA that was narrowly missed. But NV is still live and we know what to do in Georgia!
Actually, in NY state, turnout failures *did* materialize, and if Ds lose the House, NY is the reason.
That Dem turnout problem in FL? Yes, it was real - and massive. Luckily for Dems, it didn’t really materialize anywhere else. Between Dems crushing competitive OH/MI/NH/PA/TX House races but dragging in FL/NY, this is the most uneven midterm I’ve ever seen.
Pollster-pundit industrial complex, y’all oughta cancel your accounts.
