Some short term predictions as we inch closer to rate cuts:
Markets are always in the hunt for greedy longs. These people are longing too early, like today.
Rate cuts will happen and the market may dump hard given the news. Again, flush out more longs.
Then it starts to move up.
Once you get familiar with how people get rekt, you learn to be patient and buy a nice stack of spot buys before the markets bounce back up.
