I've spent years helping my family financially
Recently I decided to stop because I'm trying to save for my own future
My family says I've changed and become selfish
I love them but I don't think helping everyone should mean sacrificing my own plans

A friend asked me something today and honestly, I didnโt know what to tell her.
Sheโs currently doing her second degree and sheโs already in 300 level. Her family has offered to sponsor her to travel abroad.
Theyโll take care of everything
travel, accommodation, feeding and her cousin there is already willing to help arrange a job for her.
The condition is that she has to pause her degree. If she chooses to continue school, the family will give the opportunity to someone else.
She has about a week to decide.
She asked me what I would do if I were in her shoes, and honestly, Iโm also confused
