One year of work condensed here, but very happy with the outcome! (Good looking figures are a bonus😉) A thread on what we have done! @kclmathematics @CANES_CDT
Three new papers from #KCLDisSystResearch out on @arxiv! G. Torrisi @pepp_torr, A. Annibale and R. Kühn propose a new dynamic programming algorithm for random Boolean networks arxiv.org/abs/2105.04197

Are you a mathematician / physicist / engineer and curious about how single-cell embryos self-organize into complex animals?
Then check out this PhD opportunity with @LinusSchumacher and myself.

Today I am giving a talk on the last preprint arxiv.org/abs/2202.06705
at King's College London today at 2 pm. DM me if you would like to join
New preprint out!
``Uncovering the non-equilibrium stationary properties in sparse Boolean networks'' with Prof. Reimer Kühn and dr. Alessia Annibale from @KCLDisSyst and @CANES_CDT a thread🧵👇
arxiv.org/abs/2202.06705
Those questions are relevant in the context of gene regulation. A major challenge is to build a modelling framework that links experimental data with gene regulatory network models. Our work provides the tools in that direction, but the story is just at the beginning.

Tuesday morning I present our just accepted paper on the heterogeneous behaviour in Boolean networks at @Ccs2021L , joint me at the session 3.9. I m so excited to share my research in person 🤩
A fantastic joy for the Interdisciplinary group of scientists standing on Parisi's shoulders and a recognition of the progresses of the field. Parisi's legacy is immense
Giorgio Parisi – awarded this year’s #NobelPrize in Physics – discovered hidden patterns in disordered complex materials. His discoveries are among the most important contributions to the theory of complex systems.
I'm also in there!!🤩See you soon in Lyon😃
CCS 2021: the program is also searchable, for authors, titles, topics,... Here: ccs2021.univ-lyon1.fr/#TALKS (don't forget to refresh your cache).
The preprint is available here: arxiv.org/abs/2105.04197
Code is also available on Github github.com/g-torr/dynamic_un…
using Python implementation (so far).
Enjoy the reading😊 (6\6)
