I'm 2/3 of the way done with my novel. I'm doing it, guys. 376 AD: A Goth travels beyond the Danube and into barbarian lands to rescue his son, who's being held captive by the king of the Huns, with the aid of his brother, a Roman cavalry officer.

Hire Aron! He’s a groovy cat!
Anyone looking for a very smart dev in UK? Please check out my man @Aron_Adler. He's in London area, ideally looking for hybrid work but for the right FP role he'll consider remote. He's also open to remote contract. Btw he is not only brilliant but humble and kind.

There are people living different lives from you all over the world and that’s beautiful.
Was thinking of Aesop Rock recently. The irrelevancy of his music is such that you kind of have to do a mental double-take to confirm that he even existed. Almost feels like he is some conjured up false memory. I am pretty sure I am the first person to mention him in the 2020s

Your favorite executive is a Marxian economist and every football coach understands the importance of Maoist praxis
NEW: Colorado coaches make their players form a circle, share their mistakes from practice, and do up-downs… You can’t make this up 😂

every so often I'm reminded there's a whole other world out there
Here's a simplified Result class implementation that I use in my projects. I use it to make it explicit that a method can fail. The result carries an error describing what went wrong. No more throwing exceptions. Much more explicit public API.
